“Lovely stay”
Our stay at Notting Hill was very pleasant. The hotel is very modern and classy. Our room was small but very comfortable and nicely decorated. The front desk staff are a bit snobbish but they were responsive to questions and concerns. The breakfast had many options and we were glad we found a rate that included it with our room. The hotel is right across the street from the #4 and #25 trams which get you to and from Amsterdam's central station very easily and every point in between. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel.
“Perfect position”
A beautifully presented hotel in an excellent location. Go one direction out of the hotel and stroll across a small park & there's a great selection of lovely restaurants and bars that aren't over run with tourists. or follow this road up to rembrandt square where you feel the hustle and bustle you expect, with bars, clubs & coffee shop. Follow the road the oposite diction from the hotel & there's a great Market that runs all the way up to the heineken museum & more great attractions. The area behind the museum; park, bars & restaurants are a must if you want to spend some time with the locals. The hotel was always pristine & staff were exceptional. We got some great advice on places to eat & sites to visit. The staff were more than happy to arrange transport be it taxi or bike. On the ground floor is a contemporary restaurant/bar. You won't be disappointed
“Amsterdam Hotel”
Lovely clean modern hotel with friendly staff providing an excellent service.
“Great location”
The hotel was in a suitable location - just far enough from the centre not to be overly busy but still manageable to walk into the centre in approximately 45 minutes. With a tram stop just outside the hotel there was always transport into the centre if you didnt fancy the walk.
“Amsterdam or bust!”
Excellent location with very helpful staff providing a nice welcome. There was a relaxed atmosphere in the bar area, comfortable seating and ambient lighting. Our bedroom was very airy and bright.Firm bed and spacious surroundings. It was rather disconcerting to have sensitive bathroom lighting which responded to our movement. This was novel at first but annoying as time went by.
“Great choice”
Neat hotel with interesting decor, good restaurants, museums and an open market on a doorstep, coffee shops and party places a bit further away, but still walkable distance. Great choice for couples or business travellers.

Excellent hotel in good location. Everything was new and clean and the breakfast was very good.
“fantastic hotel”
the hotel room was spacious and the hotel staff were very pleasent. when we got there they were happy to point out various places to visit on the maps and tell us local areas of interest. the maid kept out room well stocked and very clean. the bar staff were very pleasant and the 2 for 1 cocktail hour was great fun, a good chance to try different things and meet other people. all in all i would rate this hotel very well and would go back again at the drop of a hat!
“Fantastic hotel.”
A simply lovely hotel. It is a bit of a walk from Central station but trams 4 and 25 go right to the door. It is only a short-ish walk to the centre of the City though and the hotel is right by the big market and close to a beautiful park. Our room (which was a basement room) was spotless, incredibly comfortable and a joy to return to in the evening. The hotel staff are pleasant and helpful and the whole place is superbly maintained. Thoroughly recommend.
“Outstanding hotel”
Terrific place, so much so that I stayed another night!! Had a corner room at the back with huge green trees in view. Quiet. Bed super comfortable. Huge rain shower and great wand very dutch. Great ladies at reception, very welcoming, small details like water for you from a real glass carafe. Will be back. Had stayed in area before, great shops and trams within the block.
