It's a hostel, every evening the local students come by for entertainment and socializing. The only thing I didn't like was the design of the shower. It's not enclosed enough, so half of the floor is wet after showering. Other than that, Clink Noord is convenient and a nice place to stay.

It was a very average stay ! Clean enough, decent enough amenities. The breakfast staff were far friendlier than the front desk staff . I was on the third floor, in an all female dorm, and it was very quiet . The place seemed a bit older than I originally thought , but it was mostly ok . Pillow very flat . Bed not super comfy. Check in at four, but my room wasn’t ready until almost 5. Don’t buy the breakfast buffet, not worth it. Super close to the ferry which brings you to centraal. Felt safe walking alone at night.

Laundry system is horrible. It is connected to a Wifi. And whenever the Wifi goes down the staff runs around like chicken without heads. These humans need to be smarter than a dumb laundry machine. I strongly suggest the management to make things simple for the laundry. No need to go to a hi tech remote controlled system for a such a simple task of washing clothes. The old days coin operated machines were much more efficient than these hi tech gizmos which the mangement has installed

I got the room 2 hours later than the actual check in. Staff told that the room was still not cleaned and was occupied. Should be more stringent in ensuring times since I was very tired and wanted to rest.

There are sufficient staff in front desk from early morning to later night. They are very friendly. The location is perfect. It’s just about 10 to 15 minutes getting to Amsterdam Centraal by ferry, and it’s free.the kitchen is too busy to find oven, pans for cooking or warm food 6 to 9pm. However the breakfast time is very quiet and relaxing. Overall, I enjoyed my five days at NOORD.

My first ever hostel experience and it was truly one to remember. Really clean facilities and friendly staff. Brilliant social atmosphere and is within walking distance to the station and public transport.

Not worth it for the price. Cool hostel with great facilities, clean, safe, great location across from the station, but overpriced. Might as well stay in a hotel and at least get hand soap and towels for this kind of money. It’s a great last minute option, but definitely make sure you can’t find anywhere else that’ll give you a bit more support for the same price.

Great place to stay, but needs air con
Good locations, staff were awesome. Beds as comfortable.as youd expect from a hostel. But the room was very hot and the fan didnt help much

Right by the (free) ferry that takes you right towards central station and the main part of the city. Food is delicious and the drinks were lovely. They always have something going on every evening (karaoke, cocktail classes, movie nights) and the atmosphere is so energetic. I will definetly be staying here when I visit again in the fututre. Made lots of friends and had a wonderful time.

Last-minute booking for a very busy Dutch Grand Prix weekend - loved the close location to Centraal, just a quick ferry ride and 3mins walk from hostel. We booked a private double room, which was OK (though massively overpriced for what you get) - only problem is the shower, which regularly flooded the entire bathroom. Didn't make use of the common areas due to busy schedule, but looks like a fun place for young travelers.

Good room, good sleep.
The hostel was really good compare to the one I stayed in London. The room with the ensuite shower and toilet was really clean. The bed was comfy. I had a good sleep.

It is walking distance to the Amsterdam Central station, It is good that they offer buffet breakfast and also have rooms that can fit 4 guests. But I think they can do a better job on cleaning the room as I can still see dust all over the room.

Not for solo travellers perhaps.
The room was clean, and the bathroom was a lot nicer than expected. The air conditioner didn’t work, but a fan was provided. Regardless though, it was very hot, and the thin mattress gave me a lot of back pain, but that’s to be expected in a hostel style hotel. The lobby and bar areas are nice as well. The location is great. Now, for the awful part: My friend and I were asleep in our room at around 10:30am when we heard a quick knock on the door followed by our door being opened. My friend jumped up and went to the door and said “hey!” and the person closed the door again. My friend reopened the door to see a man, who could’ve been mistaken as another guest or a random person. The man says something along the lines of “I have to check something” and rushes past my friend, into the room, uninvited. He opens the bathroom door, takes a look at the toilet, and tells us he’ll be back at 12pm. There was nothing wrong with the toilet, we didn’t put in a service request, and we were not told that someone would be coming by. It is VERY concerning to me that an employee, especially a man, is able to access rooms without waiting for someone to answer the door and without notice. This is a huge safety concern, especially for solo women travellers. I understand this might have been a room mix up, but it’s quite alarming that this happened in the first place. We even used the extra lock on the inside, but that was bypassed. There is no deadbolt to secure the door, and there is no peephole.

Very industrial style and furnishings. Rooms are small, Since we are traveling with large luggage only one piece could be opened on the floor at a time. Shower gets almost the entire bathroom floor wet. Plenty of hot water. Bed thin mattress on hard wood support. We like a firm mattress and were ok with it. Breakfast is OK The Bar is quite nice with a good selection and not over priced. The restaurant serves bar food, it's ok but would like the option of some salads or more balanced meals Location is great. across the river (free ferry) from the main train station.

This is a really great hostel! The building is gorgeous, so big and well worth an explore. There is loads to do here if you’re too tired to go into centraal, there’s a library, cafe, bar, games and loads of space to relax. Everyone is really friendly and helpful, staff and visitors alike. The hostel has a huge range of ammenities to add on as extras if you’ve forgotten something and it’s all top quality. The whole place is immaculately clean and tidy. The rooms are actually really spacious, the beds are super roomy and really comfortable. You get clean sheets for you to put on your bed. You can also rent a towel, which I did, though make sure you don’t leave it laying around, or hung up as the cleaning staff will take it if they see it. Staff at the reception gave me another one when this happened with no fuss at all. Despite the hostel being a lively, busy centre with bar, games and cafe, the rooms are super quiet and sleeping was absolutely no issue as I couldn’t hear any outside noise whatsoever. The only downside I had was that the square pillow was just too flat and lumpy. I will definitely use clinkNOORD for my future visits to Amsterdam. The location is very close to the free ferries that take you to and from centraal station, and just a minute from the eye, the a’dam lookout and a really great restaurant called The Butcher.

I quite enjoyed parts of my stay but others were disappointing. Housekeeping came into the room several days in a row thinking my checkout date was Friday instead of Sunday, saying my bed was necessary for someone else. Sunday, I was encouraged to leave at 9:30 instead of 10:00 which was the official time. Machine check in was a mess. Otherwise, friendly staff and several places to eat food and meet people.

Very convenient
I was lucky at this hostel to share a room with respectful ladies. It was a comforting 4 bed room with a private bathroom. Very convenient location away from the city center and just a ferry ride away that comes and go every 5 minutes with a 5 minute ride. Very spacious in the lobby and kitchen area to eat, work, or hangout. I would come back here.
