Although this hotel is outside the city, we appreciated the quietness. It does take about 40 minutes to get into the city but the bus stop is close atleast and passes quite often.

I was so happy with our choice of this hotel. The rooms are so efficiently organized, with just the right amount of space. Everything is so intentional, clean and welcoming. I loved the folded over down comforter on our bed and the lovely, tasteful Dutch windmill mural on the wall (so many hotels have cheap bad artwork, sad but true). The breakfast is very good, simple, but very good and satisfying. All told, I would love to stay here again. It's a great value, and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was very clean and felt safe. The wifi was spotty, the air conditioning didn’t work in our room and was told that there was nothing to be done about it. Our room was also the size of a coat closet. Prepare to use the bus as main transportation, and account for 30 minutes to get anywhere with food

The only thing I would say is that not accepting cash for drinks etc wasn't great as some ppl take a certain amount of cash to spread over their break so only accepting cards was a bit of stress.

Great hotel if you don't mind commuting.
Fantastic hotel at a really reasonable price its only downside was it was a 30min bus to Amsterdam Central or a 20min bus to Zaadam Central (these buses are not covered with a city bus pass sadly). Only its location let it down.

This hotel is far from the center of Amsterdam but it is convenient to drive or local transit. It is in a safe area. Great staff!

The rooms were quite pleasant and modern but the location is terrible. Having “Amsterdam” in the name is seems misleading as its in Zaandam. My sheets had also appeared to not have been changed as there were stains, the odd hair and a bad smell to the pillow. The staff were quite friendly and again, it’s modern.

My stay was generally amazing in Amsterdam. The hotel was fair for the price. The rooms are small but what would you want when you dont spend the day there. Our room was a little bit stuffy and needed to be cleaned,they didnt clean it even after requesting. Location isnt too bad considering its 5mins to the bus stop. Reception was good,service excellent,didnt take time to check in or check out. They were kind.

It is not our first stay at B&B hotels. Hotel and all in is great, but if they sell a travel ticket, the employee must know to say the validating time of ticket. We bought 2 ticket for 1 day (42€) at afternoon, and used it only for one drive to center. Validating period canceled at and of the day. It isn't 24 hour. Ticket works only fromm 00:00 to 04:00 hours.

Had a great stay with my cat
Really pleased with the quality of this hotel, especially for the relatively low price. Staff was very friendly and helped me with all my needs, even let me have breakfast early because I needed to leave before the normal hours. I stayed here with my cat for 2 days, and there is an awesome pet store (Hond en Kat) that is about a 15 min walk from the hotel. Getting to Amsterdam by bus was easy too, and getting too/from the airport/train station by taxi/uber was also effortless

Very easy going accomodation, staff are very helpful ,no noise when we stayed.We did not have any issues , will stay again if back in Amsterdam(even though is not central , the bus stop is very close and gets you to the city centre in about 15/ 20 minutes

Avoid this hotel!!!!!
There are renovations going on expect to be woken up by ridiculously loud drilling about 7.30-8.00. Apparently the complaints are frequent but the hotel are refusing to tell people in advance that MAJOR work is going on.

The hotel was clean. Our room was facing west and was very hot at the end of the day, the AC didn't seem to work so well. The second night, the receptionist moved us to a room across the room though and the temperature was more pleasant. The breakfast is simple but enough. The rooms are small, good for a rest but not for spending too much time in them. Easy parking.

Shower location condition
It was good. But the hotel has to review the shower location condition for the standard triple room. My friends and I had to take turn to take a shower. When one of us took a shower. The rest of us had to go downstairs and wait until each person finished showering. It's half see through shower. So showering whilst the we all wait in the room was a no go! Unless you wanted to peep each other naked.
