Excellent location on transit but not in the core. The room was ok, but unbearably hot (fan did not help and thermostat seemed to do nothing). Opening windows meant getting attacked by either noise or mosquitoes from the canal at night. The building is undergoing renovation, which is fine, but the smell of old pot in the carpet outside our room was disgusting. Staff super nice and helpful. Great local restaurants and cafes.

It was a different set us as far as a hotel, but once we figured it out the accommodation’s were great. The location was perfect for walking to all the fun neighborhoods

My room was small but clean and comfortable. There is just a small communal area for making hot drinks and a self-service bar. This was perfect for me as I was happy to eat out. Staff were v friendly and the location is well-served by trams within short walking distance. I would stay again.

Overall, a good place to stay. Walkable to a lot of areas. Staff was courteous and helpful. Cons - our room was in an area with a lot of street noise and people noise at all hours. Phone cord had to be jiggled to hear and the bathroom fan didn’t work so it was extremely humid/wet after three people took showers.

It was a very awkward room, the fan in the bathroom didn’t work. It smelled like sewer. The blinds were not hung properly and so could not be blacked out. It was quite loud.

The hotel staff were amazing. Very helpful and resourceful. The property is shared with multiple businesses so it can be hard to navigate as an international solo traveler but I was very appreciative of the front desk for being so accommodating. Thank you!

Beware: The hotel is shared with an apartment complex and check-in is on the 4th floor only. open from 8am-11pm. If you are with another party. be aware there are 2 separate elevators because the building is a rectangle and the center is a courtyard. 1st issue, is there's no safety, the door to our section of the rooms is never locked. 2. The smell in our hallway was atrocious. 3. On our last night, the POWER BLEW OUT in our room/apartment and of course, it was past 11pm and no one picked up from the emergency#. There was no HVAC to boot, unacceptable for me and my kids. The next morning when they attempted to fix they tried multiple fuse boxes and finally realized the box was in a locked closet in our room. The "hotel" made zero concessions to reimburse us for a horrible night of stay claiming this outage affected an entire area, that is not true, only affected our room as the fuse box was in our room and only controlled our room. I would not recommend this location

Nice quiet property. It is an apartment block that uses some of the apartments/studios as hotel rooms. There are good connections to the trams and the museum area is within walking distance.

Giant room and great staff.
The place was interesting. It's in like an office building on the western edge of the historic downtown. It shares the space with another hotel, so it was ... unusual. It is not in the historic downtown. If you want to walk to Dam Square, it will take 30 minutes. Same for the train station. But it was very close to the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum (10 minutes each) and there is some good dining near there. We would recommend it though. The room was very nice and HUGE. We stayed in a triple and it was the largest room I've seen in Amsterdam. The staff was exceptional and the service was very good. It was a good experience, but it is not a middle of the canals, historic Amsterdam experience, so just be advised.

Friendly and helpful staff, room amazing and little extras as they’d put balloons and drinks in our room as I’d mentioned my husband’s birthday. Totally accessible as my husband uses mobility scooter. Room easy to get to, beautifully decorated and warm. Perfect stay with perfect staff

A dated hotel with a few issues
The hotel appears to be basically a series of flats within a block of flats. The reception is on the forth floor and its not easy to get in. The room is dark with poor lighting. The bed is fashion over function due to the bed frame sticking out and into your bum and leg when you get in and out. The mattress is comfortable but did not have a mattress protector and was very old and stained. The coffee machine leaks water when left full. The shower room is dated with corroded fittings and a toilet that is too high off of the floor. The people working there are very friendly and polite. The hotel positioning is pretty good.

Lovely hotel, a bit out of town.
Hotel is lovely and clean, staf are so polite and helpful. It is a bit of a treck out of town, there are a few restaurants close by (teds does amazing breakfast!) but to get into town it’s a 10min tram ride or a €30 taxi (some tried charging more than this at night so be careful, better to download the bolt app). The closest coffee shop I believe is 10/15min walk away.

Great place to freshen up
Hard to find initially but once there it was an added security feature. Front office was super helpful in printing out tix for another part of my trip. Room was clean and had all the amenities. The shower seemed to flood a bit but that was part of the design.

Very nice room with thoughtful extras. Hotel is part of a secure complex with other hotels and possibly appartments around, courtyard facing room could sometimes be a bit noisy and could hear loud guests in adjacent rooms. Service at front desk was lovely and rooms were immaculate and very comfortable.

Reception wasn't present when we showed up and phone number went to a disconnected number. Booked a taxi for the departure, which it turns out wasn't actually booked so had a mad last minute scramble. No room to get past the bed and wall, no counter in the bathroom to place toiletries other than a shoebox sized shelf, very dimly lit room, air conditioner didn't work so window open and people smoking cigarettes and pot on the balcony below. Complete disaster.
