Poor Wifi
Everything was normal except the Wifi signals which was extremely poor. Although, information was given to the receptionist and the manager, but no action taken.

Clean, friendly staff
It is good hotel, easy to commute and has many restaurant around and is on a main road which makes it easier to find a taxi or for a pic up and drop off.

I have never met such unprofessional hotel staff in my life, first they didn't honor my Expedia reservation claiming that they stopped Expedia long time ago, then I insist and got a room. But the behavior of the reception staff was unacceptable.

This is the third time I have been to the Dammam area. The last two times, I stayed at a hotel that was quite isolated - it was near the beach but that was about it. Nothing else to do or see. The name of this hotel as shown on the site is mis-leading. The taxi driver and the airport shuttle driver both went to the Al-Khobar Tulip, which is about 10 minutes away in good traffic. This hotel is actually the Tulip Halal. Be aware so you don't end up driving around the city looking for the Al-Khobar Tulip Inn. The hotel from the outside looks okay. However, the inside leaves some to desire. The second floor carpet in the hall has watermark all over the place like a major flood took place on the entire floor. The first room I went to 216 had a broken lock. The staff couldn't get it open until they used the regular key instead of the key card. I was assigned a second room, which worked okay. I was going to use the exercise room, which they then said was under maintenance. That was kind of disappointing because it was not clearly stated on the site when I made the reservation. On the other hand, the hotel is within a 10 minute walk to the Venice Mall. That is nice to be able to walk around and see something in an air conditioned space.

Bad Service and bad surrounding area
Location was good but the surrounding area was very bad, service of the hotel was very bad, requested for Iron more than 5 time and then got the iron after 30 hours, cleanliness of room was very bad, light of room was very dim and the bathroom was not good. Not recommend others to stay at this hotel and I would not ever stay at this hotel as well.

AlKHobar Commercial area with good access
Hotel bedroom was perfect for a 1 night business stay with unlimited internet access. Comfortable king bed. Breakfast is poor with very limited choice and quaility.

They ignored the room type booked until it was brought to their attention. Shower head unusable. No water in the room. l Lots of standing water in the refridgetator.

Good value for your buck.
The room is nice and fairly big. Only negative is that my room had a smoked window, therefore did not allow outside view. The TV satellite was not working, so had only 16 local channels mostly arabic. Breakfast that came with the room is barely ok. Parking is a big problem. The roadside parking is always full and the the parking garage located in the basement is terrible. I liked the price compared to other hotels.
