“have already made a return booking, its so nice.”

The place is new clean comfortable and walking distance to the city zoo and many fine eaterys. Its like a breath of fresh air to stay here after some of the dives weve had to endure recently. We will continue to return.

“Great for Short term stay”

The hotel was just right for us - a short stay, close to great restaurants and within walking distance to everything we wanted to do. Staff at the Majestic Old Lion Apartments were great - very helpful.

“Stay again”

The room was a bit small, and no wardrobe was an issue, as I was in Adelaide for a wedding and needed to hang my clothes. Bathroom great size.

“I'd rather pay $10 a night more and stay somewhere else”

We flew to Adelaide for Womadelaide. The hotel has no on-site staff. Check-in is thru an external display. The person ahead of us was having problems. Waited 10 minutes until he finished. Check-in was not user friendly and asked for info already provided on-line when booking. Our room had not been cleaned. Called managment, a person came in 10 minutes with keys to a new room. In that room the air con remote didn't work. Another call brought someone with new batteries. The remote worked, but was dodgy, needing several attempts to turn the unit on or off. Throughout our stay the whole building was hot. We ran the air con, which was a bit noisy, all night. The rooms are small for two people. Monday morning the toilet blocked. Called management, waited the standard 10 minutes. Moved to another room on the same floor. Soon discovered the sink was blocked. Called managment, waited. All the rooms on that floor were having the same problem. Left for the festival. Later in the day we got a mobile call telling us our bags had been moved upstairs to another room. We returned fairly late, went to the old room, picked up the new keys. We were given two breakfast vouchers at a nearby cafe for our trouble. Air con remote in the new room didn't work. By this time management was not available. After changing batteries with those from the tv remote, which didn't fix the problem, went back down to the previous room and exchanged remotes. The air con was noisier than in the previous room.
