Great breakfast Super location I'd go back anytime

Service and cleanliness were great but it would be better if there’s a microwave.

If the Spa/Therm was not on site, the property would be less than 3 stars. They assigned me to a room where the telephone does not work; no English instructions for the air conditioner and the television. though it advertises as 4star, there was no robe, slipper's and turndown service. The staff could not find my reservation, had to see my confirmation to add my daily breakfast. The location was its second best feature.

Elegant, a bit pricey, but worth every penny. Location is phenomenal - 2 minute walk from the train station and directly across the street from the awesome Gothic masterpiece Koln Cathedral.

Great experience! The property exceeded our expectations, and the customer service was outstanding. The hotel team members were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. We look forward to another stay in the future.

The Capri by Fraser is an average to above average hotel. The rooms were exceptionally clean,and quiet, but overall the place needs a 'makeover'. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and very professional. One thing that I found self-serving was that you were REQUIRED to join their hospitality/loyalty program to be allowed an early check-in. Totally unnecessary. The hotel comports to be a "green" property, i.e., they don't make-up rooms daily. That was annoying because you have to make your own bed (I'm on vacation) and you have to make sure the towels get hung so they dry. They only made the room up once -- stayed for 5 nites. Had to request additional towels AND tissue. The location isn't the best, but manageable given the proximity of the busses, Trams and U. Had the breakfast buffet one morning. It was very good! Grapefruit juice was exceptional!! Would recommend a street view, such as it is. The back view is of an arena -- concrete behemoth. The a/c left a little to be desired..fortunately the had a fan available. No face clothes in the bathroom - BYO. Overall, it was a 'B'/'B+'.

Said they had a/c Did not work We asked for a fan the entire time(5 times a day.). No fan- no help with water nothing to help with the heat. Advertising water park with slides. Slides out of order. . The pool was sooooo crowded

I was a little worried as it was one of the least expensive hotels I could find in Cologne but I was pleasantly surprised! The hotel is only about an 8 min. walk from the main train station and about a 2-3 minute walk from the Heumarkt where you have many amazing options for meals. We had a courtyard view from our room which was pleasantly quiet so I can't give my opinion on how loud or quiet a street facing room would be. The hotel was very clean and seemed well maintained. The staff were very friendly. If you are a smoker there is a small patio in the courtyard where you can sit. Our room was quite nice especially the bathroom. If I were going to complain about anything it would be that there is no coffee maker in the room and the mini fridge is full of beverages you can buy so if you want to put your own food or drinks in the fridge there really isn't room. I can't give an opinion on breakfast as we went out to eat instead. Overall it was a surprisingly great stay (considering the price per night) and I will gladly stay here again if/when I come back to Cologne!
