(944 reviews) Hotel that offers something different with the clean modern design, concrete floor, perimeter led light and glass bathroom cladding. Located few minutes walk to tin hau MTR, with bus / tram stops even closer. Reception is on 1st floor with two lifts in operation serving up to 32 floors if I remember, wait times have been minimal to none. Thou there is a flyover in front of hotel. Downside there is no breakfast, gym, restaurant or bar on site. Coffee shop on ground floor street level has shutdown. There are plenty of options to eat and drink in surrounding streets. There was a slight delay with our room being ready, they more than made up for the inconvenience. Take advantage of The Mandarin Club they offer. Breakfast and Afternoon Tea is amazing. Very friendly and attentive staff. (1,005 reviews) The first room I was given smelled like smoke, even though it was on a non smoking floor. I turned right around and asked for a new room and the staff was really nice about it. The second room was not smoky but it did have a sort of musty old building smell, but it was fine for me. I feel like they could've vacuumed the carpet more. The bed was firm but comfortable and I slept well there. I personally don't like that there's no overhead light, just 3 lamps, none of which are very bright. You have to open the window curtains to brighten up the room. Overall it was fine, not exactly 5 stars in my opinion, but the room is fine and the location is great. The cleaning staff was very nice and the towels were thick and fluffy. I also liked that there was a desk and chair even for a small room, and there was a bottle filling station on every floor (and the water tasted good) and the bathroom counter had a decent amount of space for toiletries.
