They charged me 40 $ for the parking. I did not know about it before getting to the hotel. Receptionist told me that they sent a notification to me through Expedia. I said I haven’t received the notification and I told her to check the notification on the Expedia app. When she tried to check it on my phone, the app was giving an error and no notification showed up. She said they received a response from Expedia that message was delivered to me, but it was not. I was charged an additional 40 $ because of Expedia app error on my phone. If I knew that before I would not choose this hotel. But I didn’t have any error when I was doing the reservation on the app, it was giving error only when we tried to check the notification! So be prepared for it..

Horrible checkin / checkout... Would never stay there again...Double charged me entire stay and still fighting to get someone to refund 2nd one that is so clearly a duplicate for same stay....

The place is nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was the bedroom tv would not turn off. I had to unplug it. It was quiet and relaxing. It is close enough to the strip if you want hit a casino or a show, and you don’t have to deal with the loud noise. It was a little weird to have the bath tub in the bedroom. But for couples that could be a plus.

This hotel could be great if it were properly staffed with a high end hospitality background and about 10-20 more staff overall (servers, valet, bellmen, front desk, maintenance, pool, etc). The food is good, especially the fish tacos and Lobster roll, but the amount of time it took the kitchen to prepare meals at both the Sandpiper and for in-room dining was astonishing. My kids were falling asleep by the time room service would arrive at our room and with incorrect orders. The beds/pillows/bedding are nice but the layout of the staircases to/from each floor is utterly bizarre and because we had an Ocean cows room, the cars, sirens, and honking on Ocean Ave did not make for an ideal way to wake up.

Overall I had a very good stay. Hotel was clean and the staff was great. I arrived 6hrs before check-in and was dreading have to find something to do to pass the time. I had breakfast at their buffet. It was ok but not worth the $30. Before I could finish eating, I got a text that my room was ready and I could pick up my keys. All this was before 11am. I would definitely stay here again. My only other complaint would be the pool on the terrace was closed both days that I was there. I would have liked to go up there because it 21+ so no KIDS!!!
