Digby County Pet-friendly Vacations

Amazing staff and service. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Room was a little outdated: no bathroom fan, no thermostat. If you want to adjust the temperature or the fan speed: you need to contact the lobby each time. Not very convenient. Amazing facilities wirh pool, play ground for kids, chess boards, etc. We enjoyed live music at night and had an amazing breakfast in the morning. Overall very satistied and planning to be back!

Stayed 1 night before whale watching tour. Booked through Expedia so not sure if that explains why but we were placed in room in farthest building. Room obviously in great need of updating. Old stained carpeting needs to go, wall paper borders are just sad! Holes in walls where TVs used to be unfilled and 1 sad looking piece of wall decor of tea pots over bed area! On a plus, mattresses seemed to be newish but pillows were not at all comfy. The bathroom had a toilet that rocked when you sat on it and marked up vinyl flooring that didn't appear to have been swept as still hair on it when we arrived. No AC but thankfully had a small desk fan to move the air around! On a positive, location was great for proximity to tour, and view nice even with the fog. We enjoyed having the available tables in lounge area to play a board game in the evening. Would advise taking your own snacks as very limited in availability. If arriving late definitely bring something as once restaurant closes you're out of options! Highlight for us was the restaurant and staff who were friendly, helpful and engaging in conversation about the local area. Both meals, supper and breakfast were very good. The best coffee we'd had during our 3 days in Digby area!
