(1,000 reviews) Amazing resort with beautiful spas. Staff were great. Room was beautiful and totally spotless. There were a couple miscommunications though. We made reservations at the hotel restaurant for 8pm and got a call from the front desk around 745 telling us we had reservations at 730 and that they were fully booked from 8-9 and to come down asap, but there was only a couple other people in the restaurant when we got there, so not sure what that was about. We also booked the airport shuttle via email before arrival (as their directions state to do), but it seems like no one had any record of that. Luckily another couple was going to the airport at the exact same time, otherwise I think we might have been out of luck. I have all the email copies of these reservations, but something got lost in communication. Overall though it's a fantastic resort, beautiful and relaxing. Wonderful spas and great way to spend the night before a flight! (1,001 reviews) The staff members were all very friendly, professional, and helpful. The room was clean and mattress was comfortable. Be warned - There is no fitness room. And you can hear \*everything going on in neighboring rooms. There is not much to do near the hotel. But it was pretty easy to use the bus/train system to get around. I walked from Ostia Antica every day too. You can safely walk if you turn down the alley behind the hotel to avoid the stretch of main road that has no sidewalk. I was there for a whole week for a sports event. I recommend the Ostia Antica archeological site! I went into the Rome city center to see all the sites on 3 different days and used the metro. This was a clean, friendly, reasonably priced place to stay. I would stay here again. Quiet and away from the hubbub.
