Hotel is in dire need of help! Needs cleaning, updating, new furniture, staffing and everything else

DO NOT! I repeat… DO NOT STAY AT COCO REEF! This was inarguably the absolute worse hotel I have ever stayed in! The rooms are literally as old as Methusala. Even a Motel 6 has better rooms that here. Bed linens were so old and dingy that I slept on a cover up wrap so as not to touch the sheets. The furniture was old rickety wicker. The TV was an itty bitty 13”-16” monitor with a snowy monitor. The bathroom was dated and the water was never hot. Let’s not even get started about the decor. The painted walls have stencil designs and curled up wall paper trim. Hahahaha. Even in the 70’s this decor would not have been beautiful. All around the property, there is a portrait collection with huge creepy eyes staring at you. They need to take them down. On a positive note, we had a wonderful experience with the staff. Kevin and Janelle at the front desk were great. Jimmy who is in charge of maintenance was helpful and the dining room staff at breakfast was also very good. The grounds at the front of the property are beautiful with flowers and manicured lawns etc.. Long story short, stay here if you want, but the room will be the worse hotel experience you’ll probably ever have. They will never see me again. PS. The rates are not even cheap. Not worth 1 penny!

A Biohazard Disguised as Luxury: Rodent droppings are only the beginning... Utility Failures: We had zero running water for multiple consecutive nights with no forewarning. When temporarily restored, a dark brown liquid flowed from the taps. A bathroom sink remained completely clogged and backed up with stagnant water our entire stay despite notifying management. Severe Bed Linen Neglect: Due to the water supply issues, our bed linens were never changed during our two-week stay. Worse, the sheets had highly visible stains prior to use, suggesting they were never cleaned before arrival. Biohazards & Pests: We found fresh rodent droppings on kitchen counters and food areas. New cockroaches appeared daily; dead ones were left un-swept. We completely abandoned eating any food at our villa. Outside, a dead animal carcass was left to rot right by our car, emitting a foul odor. Broken Appliances: For one bedroom, the AC was broken was days. The washing machine broke three times; management's solution was to eventually hand us a key to Villa 3 and expect us to haul our wet laundry down the hill ourselves. Do not let the photos of the view fool you. Behind the scenery is a broken, unhygienic, and structurally neglected property run by management that simply does not care. To make it clear what future guests will be getting for their money: you are paying premium luxury rates to be an unpaid maintenance tester for a crumbling villa. Look elsewhere and AVOID BOOKING AT ANY COST

A new, modernly decorated hotel. Spotlessly clean. Excellent food in the restaurant (both dinner and breakfast). Friendly owners. Highly recommended.

The grounds are beautiful but the entire facility is not maintained at all . Not one aspect of this place has any modern amenities . We can excuse poor WiFi and weather related problems , but from staff to its so called all inclusive package . Assistance or food was non existent . The rooms are seriously antiquated , besides breakfast no other services exist . The communal areas have no fans and it’s serious mosquitos attacking . The fixtures are outdated , the bath soap was in some mini bottles marked in marker , the toilet seat was worn and the bed was lumpy . I mean for an all inclusive resort at least provide basis and this did not get ONE
