Gran Canaria Gay friendly Vacations

A wonderful hotel in a great location only 20 mins walk from both Playa del Ingles and the centre of the dunes at the Riu Palace. Even closer is the Yumbo Center that is less than 2 mins walk away. Rooms are spacious with extremely comfortable beds, spotless bathrooms and excellent air conditioning that doesn't leave you feeling like you're sleeping in a blizzard. I opted for half-board but didn't realise that it didn't include any drinks, except water. Even a coke was chargeable so worth being aware. The variety of foods was great but I did find everything on the menu over-salted. That seemed to be true of the local restaurants too, so must reflect Canarian tastes. Even salad was a struggle sometimes though. My only other comment which is also a Canarian observation rather than just this hotel, is the amount of cigarette smoking around the pool, coming over balconies, at certainrestaurant tables. It feels very strange. the UK having drastically cut down on this.
