« The cottage was at a few minutes walk from the beach. It was clean and tidy with a vintage touch. We rented to work from the beach and the WIFI was good ans reliable to have Zoom ans Teams meetings. Also, it was pet friendly so we took our dog with us. »

« Appartement récemment rénové. Contient toutes les commodités. Terrasse sur le toit est génial. Le seul petit bémol est la présence de plusieurs sans-abris dans le quartier. Cependant, ils n'ont pas été incommodant plus qu'il ne faut. Je recommande sans réserve. Nous avons souvent loué sur Vrbo et ce fut un des plus beaux appartements dans lequel noys avons logé. »

« We loved staying at the Holt House. It's a truly beautiful building. It's like staying in a hotel from another era. The room was beautifully decorated with victorian decor and we loved it. It was also handy to have access to a full kitchen on the first floor where we washed some of our dishes. Overall, it was a cozy and quiet place to stay. »

« Perfect rental for me and my dog. Lots of windows and light, with gorgeous views right on the water. The deck is fantastic. Great location - very quiet (except the gulls and an occasional owl), but also convenient to restaurants and such. Kitchen had everything I needed and furniture was all lovely and comfy. »

« The apartment felt like home from the moment we arrived. The location was fantastic, everything we wanted to do was about 5 minutes away. The stairs up to the 3rd floor are narrow, but structurally sound. We had a great time and would recommend this location to anyone wanting to visit Portland Maine! »

Our one minor complaint would be the sectional sofa on the main floor - well worn so it sinks down and is not very comfortable and hard to get out of for us older folks! « We had a quick family getaway over July 4 at this house. The location worked well for us being just 10 min from my son and daughter-in-law’s home. And it was great to be able to be just a short walk from a good viewing of Portland’s fireworks. As other reviewers have mentioned, the house is on a well trafficked road and there is noise but there is a back porch and yard. The beds were comfortable.
