« Check in was quick and efficient but I had to wait five minutes for a staff member to attend the desk on check out. The room was very nicely appointed, lean and comfortable. It was handy having a restaurant on site although there was nothing particularly exciting about the menu. Breakfast options are very limited as the restaurant was not open and supplies to the room are pre-packed. The gym is small with limited equipment, but very adequate. Location is great. »

« This was the second time that we have stayed at Hughes Hideaway. Despite being on the same property as the main house- you would never know anyone else was around. It feels quite secluded and quiet. The property itself was spotless with all amenities available. La piscine est également très agréable de même que les barbecues mis à disposition. Le service fut également très convivial. Rien à redire sur cet établissement. The dossier on the coffee table covering the tourist attractions, amenities and hospitality venues was amazing as it also included an informative history of Ned Kelly and the Kelly gang. « The host was fantastic. This is the second property we have stayed in with the same owners, and they are consistently proactive, kind, and welcoming. We had an issue with the toilet at one stage, and within 30 minutes of texting Dan, he was at the house to take a look. He then went to Bunnings to get the parts he needed and had it fixed within the hour. The house was clean, and everything was functional. The location was great. We highly recommend this property. »
