« Our family had a lovely time at Walker Creek. We enjoyed the spacious house, ate family dinners at the dining table, and played several games of pool in the game room. My husband and son fished every morning using the kayak, canoe, or just walking into the creek. The property is beautiful and peaceful. On our last morning there, my son was fishing, of course, and saw four otters swimming in the creek. They were so curious about what he was doing. It was a great family getaway! »

« We had a great time! The little town is great and the house was nice and spacious. We had everything we needed and the communication was top notch. It was a little cobwebby but I assume that is just because it’s a little rustic and in the country and it didn’t bother me. »

« Stayed with family while visiting other family in the area. Great location and proximity to the lake with a fairly level lot. Easy entry for enjoying the water. We were able to drive down to the water which was helpful for mobility challenged family member. Also enjoyed the fire pit. »

« My wife and I stayed at Blackberry Bungalow at the end of July and could not have been happier with our experience - all expectations were exceeded. The location of the home, the neighborhood, proximity to the water and to local trails were all outstanding. The home was clean, beautifully set up, perfectly designed and exceeded all of our needs. « Great Lakefront House. The room layout is unique but it worked for our group (3 families in town for a travel baseball tournament). Great access to fishing and kayaks and plenty of room to have a group meal. The kids and families had a great time. »

« Very nice property and great communication. We would definitely come back. We were in Fries dir the fiddlers convention. »

« Perfect place for the Labor Day end of Summer weekend! We brought rafts and floated the River a couple of times. Kyakers went fishing and paddling up and down the river. We sang, laughed, watched the Virginia Tech game, and had a great time! Location was pretty much in the center of all our houses! The house had everything we needed. Great pontoon-dock and ease of access to the water. »
