« Beautiful, and great for a weekend birthday getaway! We enjoyed our stay - clean, comfortable, and could have our dog with us. We used the fire pit each morning, had it all to ourselves. Club 51 close by (walking distance) with wonderful food and drinks. B&B Adventures close by to rent utv, slingshot, pontoon boat, or snowmobile. »

« The lodge is a wonderful place to get away to birch trees and smell off clean pine air. Our lake view was amazing. The leaves were just beginning to show the onset of fall with few hues of red and orange. We took many walks around the property enjoying the woods and lake. The resort was quiet but people hanging out at the beach or fisherman taking their boats early in the morning. The pool and spa were used a few times. It should open early. The kitchen and dining were stocked to meet our needs....

« The property is beautiful. Lots of outdoor places to sit and relax. The inside is spacious. Beds are comfortable. Everything was clean. Fully equipped kitchen and a large gas grill on the deck. The property is on a corner so you have access to Eagle Lake and also access to the channel leading to Catfish lake. Very nice sunsets. You will not be disappointed with your stay here. »

« Spent four days in Minocqua at the Knotty Barrel Lodge. I have been spending summers in Minocqua for 30 years, there is nothing like this place. Perfect location, walking distance to town, easy for boat rental. There is a great supper club downstairs with a friendly staff (btw: noise from the restaurant is not an issue at all)The property is clean and so unique. The beds are crazy comfortable, bunk room in great condition with lockers and vanity mirrors, showers and bathrooms in perfect...

« We had a wonderful time during our stay at the Elkstone. The cabin itself is beautiful - very clean and comfortable for 2 families. We encountered next to no hiccups, but when needed, the owner was very quick to respond to email. The location of the cabin is great - close enough to but far enough from Eagle River. The setting is lovely - very private and serene. We rented a pontoon boat from the Maple View Resort - about a mile away - which guaranteed us access to Pioneer Lake. To get to the...
