No coffee filters provided. Toaster is tiny, cheap and a bit hard to use. There is no established path so you are just trotting about 50 yards across...

« Our group ended up being fewer than planned but the property worked out great for our purposes! We were in the area for the University of Vermont graduation weekend and it was awesome to be able to book this property for just the 2 nights that we needed. The house is great and the view and proximity to Lake Champlain was perfect. We were able to catch sunsets on both our evenings there and they were beautiful. « We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves despite bad weather all week. The property is as described. The view was lovely and we appreciated how quiet the neighborhood was. We cooked most of our meals. The kitchen was well-stocked in terms of dishes, cutlery, pots & pans. The only potential issue is that the stairs to the 2nd floor bedrooms are very steep, as others have noted, and our dog wasn’t able to climb them. Other than that, the place was very comfortable and it was great to get away. »

Be aware that the windows don't close properly (or at all), there is a lot of noise during the night, properly critters. This unit is above someone and the neighbors are quite close. Very nice ferry driver! If you are into a glamping experience, it is worth it, but the price should reflect this. »

« Loved our stay at the cottage near quaint towns of Waterbury and Waitsfield with access to great restaurants, breweries and beautiful hikes! The cottage was restored nicely with all the modern amenities. Really enjoyed having an updated kitchen, bathrooms and laundry facilities. The water supply is from a mountain stream and at times the water pressure could be challenging when all needed to shower at the same time but we were able to make it work by staggering our showers. « Heron Dance cottage was a quiet and peaceful getaway. In a great location, this cottage was well outfitted for preparing meals, contained comfortable furniture and the bed was firm. The views out to the Lake were exceptional. The landing and the way down to the Lake made for easy swimming. Jan was friendly and approachable. The neighborhood roads facilitated daily walks. We highly recommend this property. »

« If you are good with an authentic rustic environment- complete with small rodent catch and release trap under the stairs, a little water coming in the bedroom ceiling when it rains, bugs galore, and supplying your own drinking water— then OK. Everyone else consider yourselves forewarned. There has been absolutely no maintenance done on this property in decades. The local staff are wonderful. »
