Older apartment buildings, this building was in the front part of complex, our parking lot had out of state license plates, I believe other buildings were long term rentals. "We enjoyed our stay! The home is in a nice historic neighborhood close to a lot of great restaurants and attractions. It was clean and the space was great for hanging out and enjoying our time together. A couple of issues: the shower in the main bedroom was hard to operate and the water pressure was low. We all used the hall bathroom for showers. Also worth noting, the pictures on the website do not match the current decor. However, overall, it was great for our visit."

"Our family stayed here over Memorial day weekend for a family wedding and we just had the best time. the house was beautiful and has everything we needed. The kids had the best time in the pool and jumping on the trampoline. Very clean and spacious and the owner Sam couldn't have been nicer. Came over to check on us and talked for a little was very helpful. a great place to stay ."

"The house was very clean, looked just like the pictures. Entry was easy. There weren’t any wash clothes that I could find or a paper telling us what to do before leaving…. So we did what we typically do when we stay other places. Also check the street view before you book. That street made us a little uncomfortable. But we didn’t have any issues with the neighbors. Over all it was fine for the 1 night we needed!"

"The code was showing on the wall next to the door which made us feel less than safe. I tried to contact the owner and he never responded. The sofa smelt like someone peed in it. The bedroom close to the kitchen had a mold smell. But the most worrying issue was the shower that was in the bathtub was on a platform with no rail to hold on to in order to get out safely. Otherwise we enjoyed the house."

"I met my 8 girlfriends from college in central Kentucky. The Havilah House was the perfect location for keeneland and bourbon tours and halfway between the bluegrass and Louisville airports. The house is comfortable and well stocked. The host was very responsive and answered our questions quickly. I would highly recommend it."
