Whilst this is two storey cottage, the interior design feels more like living in a loft style apartment with a high vaulted ceiling and a lovely large open plan living space in which to relax and socialise. On chillier days, the gorgeous large velvet sofa is perfect for TV watching, reading or listening to music, and the fully equipped kitchen has a wooden table and benches to enjoy home cooked meals or a takeaway from one of the many on offer in the town. On sunnier days, there is a pretty walled courtyard with a bistro table and chairs and a large wooden corner bench to relax on and enjoy the sunshine. Whitstable is a lively coastal town with a thriving arts and creative scene and lots of live music in the many pubs and cafes, including the famous Old Neptune on the beach which is only a short walk from the cottage. Take a stroll along the buzzing High Street and popular Harbour Street both with a wealth of independent and boutique shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs, and explore the fishing harbour to sample some delicious seafood. Further afield are the historic market town of Faversham and the medieval City of Canterbury. Please ensure you vacate on time to allow our housekeepers to enter the property and prepare it for the next guests. Smoking is not permitted in the property at any time. Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house. For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property. All mod cons and facilities plus the benefit of a small garden. A great base for exploring Whitstable. Only downside was with the main shower head, which leaked when on full power so had to use hand shower attachment instead. As it was Easter weekend, it also took a while to find a parking space nearby. ##### Elaine J.
