« A great place to stay! Technically a small house, it still felt very spacious for four people. Everything was clean and well kept. The property was beautiful and private. The location was also great; we never had to drive more than 20 minutes to get anyway. I would definitely recommend! »

Only negative is that it is directly beside a very active railroad track. After the first night you get used to it though. Very friendly, very clean! »

« We had a lovely stay in Deena’s cottage. The cottage was super convenient to the car ferry, and we took many fun trips into Williamsburg and Jamestown with the kids. We enjoyed the private slice of beach right outside the cottage and kayaking with the kids in the river. Deena was incredibly communicative and knowledgeable and the check-in/out process was seamless. The cottage was well-appointed and the kitchen well-stocked and had everything we needed. « Loved every minute vacationing at the Guest House "Holly Hill" in Charles City, VA! The Saltwater Pool was extremely luxurious and relaxing! Even though we had quite a few days of rain, the sun still came out long enough for us to swim in the pool! The two new managers Justin and Charles were very nice and helpful. This was their first year managing the property and they did an excellent job! Was sad that Steve Rula, Jr has retired and we missed not seeing his smiling face! Wish Steve the best...
