But the owners son came to our rescue everyday and brought us groceries and helped us carry all our luggage in his truck! Such a blessing! Even though we didn’t get to explore the area, there was plenty of things to do at the cabin! Kids sled down the hills, we walked all over the property and down to the lake and played countless games inside. Lots of memories were made and would definitely come back. Great trip! Having a fire was also convenient, with there little store shed. No smores on our visit but had the fire wood. The little country store/gas station down the road was also convenient and a treat. The sandwiches were great. The host was very helpful with info and and would definitely recommend this place especially with kids."
