La bonne impression du début est vite effacée par une moquette et un rideau de douche à changer, des draps propres mais tachées, la prise électrique la plus pratique complètement bousillée et le wc dègageant un léger parfum pas trop propre. Son atout, le prix (on se demande si le peu de clients et la clôture des sentiers suite aux incendies d'août dernier ont eu quelque chose à voir), ATTENTION À NE PAS FERMER LA PORTE DE LA SDB-CHAMBRE 6 SI VOUS ÊTES SEUL, VOUS RISQUEZ DE NE PLUS POUVOIR SORTIR !!!!!!

The room we got with the king size bed and kitchen was great newly renovated and very comfy. The first room they put us in was so small and only a queen bed no side table or any kind of a table was very claustrophobic feeling. We would not of been happy in that room but they were very accommodating and moved us to the king size bed room. Would stay there again for sure but probably not in the hottest part of summer as there is no air conditioning.

The Crandell lodge is an older building but our suite was nicely renovated or updated recently. It was clean, tidy and very cozy. The staff was very helpful during our stay. The restaurant/pub in the main lodge across the street had great food and service. I would recommend and stay at the lodge again. The location of staying in Waterton town was wonderful in the 2nd last week of April as not many shops & restaurants were open which was great and kept the tourists to a low. It appears everything opens up and season starts sometime in May for most merchants. Waterton in general is beautiful with the lake, great water falls (especially during mountain run off) and lots of hiking trails. Very pretty area and will be back for sure.

Our stay was awesome. Travelled with a family with young kids and a new born. Place is clean. Needing more lighting especially at the dining area is a bit dark. Would be nice to put the information that the washroom is inside the masters bedroom. Its a bit inconvenient that others have to enter the room with kids sleeping when needing to use the washroom at night. Walkable to the lake and town.

This lodge is conveniently located and the property is well maintained. It was snowing madly when we arrived and check in was delayed by nearly an hour, so it was challenging to be patient. We were offered the opportunity to go to the pub which of course meant spending more money. It was disappointing.

We had an excellent stay at crandell mountain lodge, one of the best experiences of our lives, it was so well managed, clean and quiet, I wonder why some ppl had not so good experience. Their rates are very reaaonable and service is top notch. I would defnitely come back again and again. Its location is also very ideal. The veiw was excellent, thanks alot the management for your hospitality❤️

First night checking in wasn’t too bad . Noticed some dirt/garbage under the table. But wasn’t bad .. second night we went to bed and heard mice crawling around in the upper walls of bedrooms. Got up the next morning and moved the couch in living room and seen a mouse trap with poop around it . I went and told front desk our problems . The young lady said they will have someone come change the mouse traps , it’s an old building and that’s all they can do right now … we went back that evening. They didn’t change the trap, they didn’t clean the poop .. they placed 2 extra traps around different parts of the room. Very dirty place to stay.. the 80 years old excuse just don’t justify how dirty this place was. I told the guy at check out to make sure it actually gets cleaned before the next guest arrived.

The lodge appears rustic on the outside, but after multiple different visits can report the rooms are well maintained, updated and clean. Conveniently located with friendly and helpful staff. Really like this property.

We splurged for the room with the very fancy bed. Turned out the fireplace is just for show and does not work. There was no television. The cobweb noted by another guest was still there. The food was as pricey as noted by others. The fancy bed, though, was as conformable as it was beautiful. We slept incredibly well.

Decent stay overall for the price paid, however some issues were the floor was a bit sticky, the bright light from digital clock on the microwave was uncomfortable to sleep with on and couldn't figure out how to turn it off, and the fireplace was a bit loud to sleep with on and took a while to shut off when we did turn off the heat.
