We hope you enjoy the welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, locally sourced milk and biscuits, guests also have access to free to use WiFi. This is a pet-friendly property; a maximum of two well behaved dogs are welcome and well provided for; you will find food and water bowls, a towel and poo bags for your dog(s).

Layout:

The open plan kitchen has a dishwasher, fridge, and gas oven and grill with electric 4 burner hob. You’ll find a farmhouse style dining table for three, and a large, comfortable sofa around a flat screen TV, as well as a Bluetooth speaker for playing music through your device.

To the bedroom there is an en-suite bathroom with shower. Fluffy white towels, pool towels, and Lulworth body wash, hand soap and shampoo are all provided for you. 

The main door opens onto the sunny shared gravelled courtyard, with rattan garden furniture available from April to September, providing the perfect spot to relax outdoors. The shared heated outdoor swimming pool, also open from April to September, is easily accessible from the courtyard. The Games Barn is available all year round.  In the West Courtyard sits the laundry room, with a washing machine and tumble drier, clothes airer and iron and ironing board for your use. You will also find freezer space allocated to The Shelter Shed here.

Allocated parking for one car is included in the West Courtyard parking area. Complimentary parking across the Lulworth Estate is included in your stay upon receipt of your car registration number, allowing you unlimited access to Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove and Lulworth Castle Park. For day trips further afield, there is a bus stop 200m from the Cottage with links to Poole, Weymouth and Swanage.

Within walking distance at the nearby Durdle Door Holiday Park, you will find many facilities which you are welcome to make use of, including a children’s Woodland Adventure Play Park, the wonderful Man O' War Bar & Restaurant, and the convenient Durdle Door Stores. Please note that these facilities are only available during the Holiday Park’s open season, March – January.

Please note:

The Shelter Shed is situated close to the area of the Lulworth Ranges, where military training and live firing may occasionally be heard dependent on wind direction. Parking for an extra car is available at an additional charge per night.

Please be aware that over the last weekend in July each year, the incredible Camp Bestival takes place at Lulworth Castle which can cause local disruption and does mean the Castle and Grounds are not open to the public in the surrounding weeks before and after the festival.
