"We made a very last minute booking to the hotel and arrived just 20 minutes later.
Kimberley on reception was amazing, helping us with a smooth check in and a really warm welcome. She got us a table in the restaurant too where we had a lovely dinner and great breakfast the next morning.
The room in this old historical inn was very clean and comfy. Low doors and winding staircases add to the historial fun.
The gardens are very well kept and pretty and we enjoyed exploring them after breakfast."

We stayed two nights in May, 2013. This hotel has a spa and meeting facility attached, as well as a restaurant (expensive) and a smaller bistro/bar area with moderately priced meals (where we ate two dinners). Located along a main road, but not near other tourist facilities, so eating in the hotel may be necessary. We enjoyed the house-like shape of the hotel, the huge garden area and large parking facilities. The staff were excellent, everything was clean and there is a nice gym and swimming...

This was a beautiful small hotel, 8 rooms over a pub in the centre of town. Each room is different but mine (room 5) was amazing. Large bedroom and a spa line bathroom with a tub that would be perfect for wine and a bubble bath and a separate rainfall shower.
Breakfast was included with a good sized menu.
All the staff was friendly and helpful. There is no elevator, so you are carrying your luggage up and down a lot of stairs, but the staff always jump in to help.

This was a comfortable older hotel that was walking distance to Canterbury Cathedral and so much more. I would be happy to recommend this hotel! Just one caveat - there is no elevator! We also enjoyed our meals there!

The staff were really great, nothing was too much trouble for them. Lovely setting, and great food, breakfast of champions, and an original menu for dinner etc.

Beautiful property in a quaint little town, run by a lovely couple! He is a chef and they also run the pub up the road. Delicious food at the pub and also for our included breakfast. We even sat in the library after dinner and were offered a glass of port. Just a delightful stay!
