Make sure to read the directions from the manager as the visual of the exterior is helpful for knowing where to park. There is a washer and dryer (no laundry detergent). We followed the instructions and the room gets very humid if you close the door. We recommend leaving it open while doing the laundry, which in turn heats up the place. They do have a mini split AC to help and airing out the place before sunset helps cool it off too. We appreciated they provided a few snacks, coffee and tea. However, there’s a Nespresso machine and no pods. That was a source of disappointment in the morning and the Nespresso machine should be removed from the unit. One note: There is a flight of stairs and you will need to carry your bags.Wanaka reminded us of California with its climate, shrubbery and surf shops. ##### Melinda B.
