I found the location “central” to many of the small towns we wanted to visit but easily accessible to larger towns and Rutland city if needed. The home is beautifully decorated, clearly with intentional, slowly collected items that have practical use and beauty. The historic home has several vintage and antique features that are in great working condition, reminding us to remain sustainable within our own home. I love that despite the age of items- from lamps to stoves to sinks and kitchenware and furniture, (even a Nintendo and VHS!) everything was in working order and the host didn’t skip out providing modern necessities that are important to us when traveling- soft, cotton towels; crisp sheets and comfortable beds and pillows. Our host, Andy, was so responsive and a pleasure to deal with. The farmhouse is so cozy and and immaculate. Our kids absolutely LOVED the movie projector and were blown away by the array of movies they had to choose from. Andy, Asha and Sprout- thank you for making our stay so comfortable.
