"This property is listed as 'luxury' but is anything but luxury. The hot tub didnt work, there werent enough chairs / plates / bowls, cups were plastic. Communication with the host was awful, hours before she replied and her paypal account didnt work for payment. She made us wait outside the property on arrival and kept 40 from our security deposit due to the faulty hot tub. This was a no stars break and if you are thinking about booking, I would think again."

"We booked a king room which was a good sized room on the ground floor as requested. It had a large king bed and was bright and immaculately clean. There is a fridge with supplied still and sparkling water and milk plus teas and coffee. The spa and pool facilities are first class and the restaurant is good quality with the emphasis on healthily well cooked and prepared food. The staff were all so helpful , friendly and well presented. Excellent staff, would go again."

"We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at High Cove! The location is fantastic—it is wonderfully quiet, family-friendly, and offers easy access to the North Cornwall countryside while serving as a great base to explore the rest of Cornwall. The only minor downside for us was finding the exact holiday home within the park, as the instructions weren't quite clear. Since it was our first time there, it would have been really helpful to have clearer identification or a small map pointing to the exact plot. Overall though, it's a lovely spot and we thoroughly enjoyed our time!"

"Magical cottage, very private and quiet, with an enormous garden and private beach: if we only could live there! My family spent a wonderful week in this gem: walking, playing on our beach, cooking, boardgaming, surfing, visiting nearby castles. The cottage is very comfortable, with all electrical appliances you can ask for, and all working perfectly. The big kitchen is a lovely time-warp. Highly recommended!"

"The property was like a tardis - it was tucked away in the corner and looked tiny from the outside but it was very spacious and light once inside. Lots of amenities and very dog friendly with a fully enclosed back garden. Comfortable beds. Very quiet, peaceful location and we didn’t hear the neighbours at all. The hot tub was a wonderful way to end each day after a day out exploring. (Remember to empty the filter though as leaves fall in every time you open the lid). Totally recommend a day or 2 out starting at Daymer beach and walking to Rock from there and getting the boat across to Padstow. Wonderful :)"
