"Pros: Krystelle est Pierrick sont des hôtes formidables, accueillants et passionnés par leur activité ! Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. Le logement est conforme à l'annonce, confortable et bien équipé. La piscine et le jardin sont très jolis et parfaits pour les enfants. Très beau château au Lude à 5 minutes en voiture. "Nous avons passé un agréable weekend dans le gite à l'occasion d'une réunion de famille. Les multiples chambres ont permis de loger tout le monde et les différentes pièces (bar, salle, veranda, terrasse) ont permis aux petits et aux grands d'avoir des espaces de jeu et activités sans se gêner les uns les autres. La grande salle nous a permis de manger à 26 confortablement. Le site contient un grand extérieur boisé qui a fait le bonheur des enfants, ainsi qu'un accès direct à une base de loisir.Notre séjour s'est déroulé juste après un changement de propriétaire et des travaux rendant certaines prestations momentanément indisponibles. Notre hôte s'est montré accueillant et disponible afin de trouver des solutions. Tous les invités gardent un bon souvenir de ce week end !"

"This is a complicated review, please read to the end.We were a party of 19, from 78 years old down to 1 year old. The children had a wonderful time, in the pool all day, playing in the grounds, and safe cycling along the lovely river. The adults spent many happy hours on the terrace, reading, eating chatting and drinking. It was supremely relaxing.The bedrooms were numerous and all had en suite.Gil, the concierge-property manager could not have been more friendly and helpful.However, the property is quite run down. The bathrooms varied in their functionality. The kitchen was inadequate for such a large property and the electrics were temperamental All that being said, we had a wonderful holiday and it was exceptional value for money.If you are a large multi-generational family group it may be the best venue. But it is imperfect. Four stars seems fair."

"This is a very special property and I recommend it highly.It is very much a chateau/castle as per the photos, with lovely wood floors, styled ceilings, antique furniture. The beds are old fashioned but comfortable. The bathrooms are all modern and well equipped with good showers. The place is exceptionally well equipped - everything you could possibly need when it comes to dining and cooking. On arrival, there were some supplies to start us off till we could get to the shops, which was very generous. Everything is of very good quality and you are trusted to use lovely things. There was huge assortment of drawing and colouring materials and toys for the children, also board games. The pool is lovely and a good size. There is an amazing pool house which again is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, fridge, and cooking facilities including a bbq.Phillipe and Marina live on site in another part of the chateau. They were perfect hosts, completely unobtrusive but helpful when we had questions. We stayed for two weeks, a family of three couples and two children. I'm not sure anyone ever bbq'd as much as we did, and Phillipe and Marina certainly had a lot to put up with, as we generated a lot of recycling and compost and so on, which they quietly dealt with along with keeping the pool clean, a challenge as the kids were in the pool from morning till night!Thank you so much to both of them for a most amazing stay and we would love to be able to return.,"

"The hotel is in a very convenient location near Le Mans. In August 2026 there were building works going on on the site. The staff on reception were all very friendly, helpful and efficient. Breakfast was self service but a good range of foods and drinks on offer; the freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious. Be aware that the restaurant is not open on a Sunday evening; we unfortunately were not aware of this in advance! Our room was on the ground floor, spacious enough and very clean. As we were travelling with our dog, this was perfect. There is a small local park nearby which was also very useful."
