« It was a pleasure staying at Zalia Wight. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need for an enjoyable stay. We used the bus services quite a bit as the stops were just along from the property so didn't need our car. Local pub Bonchurch Inn was really nice and worth a visit. « The cottage seems to be recently refurbished provides most of the modern facilities but without luxury. The house is warm and have all the necessary to cook and stay like home. You have even dishwasher, washing machine and convenient drier. The surrounding provides walk paths by the coast. Note that you can not access directly the beach as there is a cliff, you need to walk a mile or so so access the sea shore. « The property is a period house and the owner Chris has kept it to that style, very clean with a excellent breakfast cooked to perfection by Chris with a wide and varied choice of food. Whitwell is a designated dark sky area with some very pretty houses lots of thatched roofs,the local pub is only a few minutes walk and well worth a visit,the food is excellent. « We initially had a little hiccup which was sorted straight away by Ruth who was really helpful. The cottage had everything we needed, it was lovely in a great location not far from Ventnor town an ideal base to explore the area such as Freshwater bay, Steephill cove. »
