« Cedarwood is a special place. It is rustic but still has modern amenities. The location is the perfect launching point to all the outdoor activities that Mt Hood has to offer (we went on several awesome hikes). Ian is the ideal host and was very attentive to our needs. « This is cute little cabin in the pretty Oregon backdrop. It is accurate in it's description. My girlfriend and I stayed for four days and enjoyed every bit. We did run into a few issues easily overcome, the back room breaker tripped due to the loading from heaters and lights being on at night. The electric fireplace did not want to work with us so we used the wood stove instead. There was plenty of wood, just needed kindling to get it started. As other reviews mention, the upper level and bedroom have a very low ceiling, which isn’t the most comfortable for getting in and out, but this didn’t detract from our stay at all. « Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The views of Mount Hood were incredible. The home is nicely appointed and the property manager provided clear instructions. The TVs are all Roku so have your streaming app passwords ready to go. The hot tub was a big hit with our teenagers. The house is located an hour outside of Portland, 25 minutes south of Gov Camp.
