"While a little outdated, this was very affordable and within 10 to 15 minutes of what we wanted to see and do in Portland. There is an outside pool, and a light breakfast. You need to ask for housekeeping if you want it, but the bed was comfortable after exploring and walking all day it was fine. Probably the most reasonable place to stay. "
"My partner & I stayed here for a night because we were seeing a concert in the area. Great place to stay for a night! The room was clean & cool. We had a wonderful stay!"
"The Blind Tiger was a gem. It was convenient and private enough to enjoy with staff available 24/7 with and questions. The room, lobby and all areas were immaculate and brilliantly arranged. I would definitely go again!"
"Quite simply one of the loveliest, friendliest hotels I've stayed in for a while - helped by being in the most beautiful of cities. Friendly staff, great decor, spaces to read and work and good food. Room was lovely and spacious. "

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Portland
10/10 Excellent
"This was a great spot, with a great location. The room was tidy and clean. The beds were comfortable, and the price reasonable for Portland. The staff was very helpful. I’d stay here again!"
"This was a wonderful hotel and completely different than the last clarion hotel. We stayed at in New Haven, Connecticut. The people were friendly the place didn't smell bad. It was nice and clean. Our rooms were clean. Even though there wasn't any breakfast, it did not matter there was coffee and hot water available. Most of the time we can't do breakfast anyway doesn't have options that work for us. I was so pleased I told the GM what a great hotel he had. "
"As another reviewer pointed out - you get what you pay for. The 'vibe' at this hotel is seedy but everything was ultimately fine as expected or I wouldn't have booked this room. I was at a wedding in portland for the evening and room rates everywhere else were through the roof. I just needed a bed and this served its purpose."
"Nice spot. Nice price. The breakfast ends at 9am. They dont tell you and are very rude when you ask questions..especially the cleaning lady at the end of breakfast was rude."
