"My brother, our friend, and I stayed for 3 days at Wilfried's place in Colmberg, which is a pleasant small town just a 20 minute drive from Rothenburg. The spacious converted barn is very homey, with sofas, WiFi, a large-screen television, etc. Wilfired was very personable, enjoyed chatting with us and giving us recommendations for restaurants in the area, and even for other good places to visit in southern Germany. If some day I return to the area I will definitely stay with Wilfried again."

"Wir haben als Großfamilie mit 5 Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern vier Nächte in diesem schönen großen Haus verbracht. Platzaufteilung und Raumangebot waren optimal für uns. Wir hatten eine Schlechtwetterphase erwischt und so war es gut, dass man sich auch im Haus prima verteilen konnte. Die Kinder haben sich sehr über vorhandene Spiele und Bücher gefreut. In der Umgebung gibt es sehr viel zu sehen. Besonders der Wildtierpark Bad Mergentheim ist zu empfehlen. Man könnte einen langen Urlaub hier...

The owners responded immediately to any questions and were so helpful.....providing me with antiseptic and bandages when I had a fall, going to a nearby restaurant and helping us order since I don’t speak German and generally being very pleasant and friendly. "Sehr herzlicher Emfang. Gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Es gab selbst erzeugten Wein und eine Rundfahrt mit dem Traktor für die Kinder. Außerdem viele Fahrzeuge für die Kinder (Kettcar, ect...). Wir durften unsere Fahrräder in der Scheune unterstellen. In der Nähe gibt es einen kleinen Spielplatz und eine Outdoorkegelbahn. Und hast es sehr gefallen. The beds are cozy and the home is extremely well stocked and in such a great village. We enjoyed walking in the evenings and found the locals to be some of the friendliest we have ever experienced. "I can't say enough about this property. The apartment was spotless, well furnished, and so comfortable. (at an amazingly low price!!) The hosts were wonderful. I was not feeling well and Mary brought be homemade soup & zucchini bread from the magical garden that surrounds the house. On another occasion they offered us a ride into town.
