If all you want to do is rest and watch the apples grow you can certainly do this here. The birds in the morning to watching the bunny play was a great stress receiver. « We really enjoyed the stream and how quiet it was. There are other homes nearby, but I think they are the other cabins with the same owner. The location is great. You can be at a grocery store in 8 minutes. All of the towns are 20-40 mins in varying directions. There is a great spot to watch the sunset nearby called Jump Off Rock. Blue Ridge Parkway is only a 40 minute drive »

« Mountain Shadows is a cozy cottage nestled in the forest amongst a few other cabins but with enough privacy to let you lay back and relax. The house was well-equipped, clean and the hot tub was a welcome diversion after a long day out. This is a place I would definitely recommend to anyone. »

« How this property ever got numerous 10 stars is beyond my comprehension; very obviously fake reviews. The shower floor was nasty. There was what appeared to be black mold under kitchen sink. Floors were uneven and sinking in spots. Roof covered with tarp. Walls were particle board and mismatched pieces of scrap wood. Overall, we had to question the integrity of the home. Owner did not sent check- in info on day of until we called an hour after check-in time. Left shortly after seeing the place....

« The room was clean, It is family friendly. We did not use the tub. The shower is a corner shower that is a little tight but has great water pressure and flow. I did put a wash cloth on the tub so the shower door would not hit the bare tub and damage it or make a loud noise. The first night the family in the adjoining cabin were noisy until 1am. "Bien placé. Chambre propre, déco sympa, mais peu d’espace. Pas de placard où ranger ses affaires. Lavabo dans la chambre. Peu d’intimité. Pratique pour une nuit mais peut être pas idéal pour un séjour plus long, Accueil agréable avec 1 bon pour une boisson offerte. Nous avons testé le restaurant, les plats étaient bons, le service était bien mais c’était assez bruyant. Parking à côté de l’hôtel."
