We had a great experience at the House of the Rising Sun. The kids all had their space, and they especially enjoyed the hot tub. The turntable and vintage vinyls were a fun touch. Fantastic sunsets from the backyard over the pool and casita. We would stay here again!

Perfect house for our friends/family visit!
We booked this house very last minute, as a previous rental cancelled on us. It turned out to be fantastic! House was clean, well equipped, and very well located for our group of 4 adults and 4 children. Plenty of kitchen supplies, utensils, etc, as well as towels and linens. The pool and hot tub worked well, and were clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable, the casita was cozy and the air conditioning in both buildings worked very well despite 109ish degree daytime high temps. Communication with the owners was great. Check-in and check-out was easy and predictable. Had a couple very minor issues (which can be expected over a 10 day stay) but the owner was very friendly and responsive and handled things quickly! We visit Tucson every summer and I would not hesitate to stay in this home again. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

The Perfect Place just outside of downtown!
The House of the Rising Son was perfect for my family of 5 adults. The house was clean, well-stocked and in a safe/quiet neighborhood, just outside of town. We enjoyed the spacious rooms, the pool, hot tub and both covered patios. The owners responded quickly with any of our questions. We were extremely happy with our stay and visit to the Tucson area!

Fun in the sun
This property was perfect for our group. The rooms were great and beds were comfortable. The location was great, close to walmart and a liquor store! We had a great time in the pool, there is even floaties, sunscreen and bug spray. We definitely would stay here again if we go back to Tucson.

Everything and more for a getaway
Chrysti, the owner, was very available and helpful once we had her contact. The management company is less communicative and helpful and I wish they would give contact information for the owners earlier in the process as it can help to plan. Luckily it worked out because the property was everything we needed. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine that we enjoyed by the fire pit after checking in. The kids and adults enjoyed the hot tub and pool. I appreciated that there was a gate we could lock between the yard and the pool. We even had a movie night on the lawn with a projector and screen we brought. The house manual had a lot of very helpful information and ideas. The house is more centrally located than where we usually stay which made getting out to see places more doable. The Casita was great as well. The master bedroom had the most comfortable bed I’ve possibly ever slept on. The entire place was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed to stay, eat, and play.
