    L’espace :

    La vue panoramique sur la baie vous coupera le souffle dans cette maison de Truro, perchée sur les dunes, aussi près de l’eau que vous puissiez l’imaginer. Bienvenue à l’Oasis des huîtres!



    En poussant la porte d’entrée bleu marine, vous êtes accueilli par une vue à couper le souffle dès que vous pénétrez dans la cuisine et le salon à aire ouverte. Prenez votre petit-déjeuner sur le grand îlot central tout en contemplant la baie de Cape Cod, avec le Pilgrim Monument au loin. Au bout du couloir, trois chambres complètent l’aménagement de cette maison pouvant accueillir six personnes. Les deux premières chambres, situées à l’avant de la maison, disposent chacune d’un très grand lit et de superbes rangements encastrés. Plus loin dans le couloir, la dernière chambre abrite deux lits jumeaux posés sur de grands rangements encastrés, et offre une vue imprenable sur les eaux de la baie en contrebas.



    La vue est encore plus imprenable depuis la vaste terrasse arrière, où vous pourriez même vous assoupir dans les chaises Adirondack en écoutant les vagues venir lécher le rivage. La terrasse en pierre bleue concassée qui entoure toute la maison offre un vaste espace pour profiter du soleil, tandis que le petit cèdre apporte juste ce qu’il faut d’ombre à votre refuge au milieu des dunes de sable; la table installée en dessous constitue un endroit idéal pour un dîner en plein air. Veillez à prévoir quelques nuits dans cette incroyable demeure au moment du coucher de soleil : une expérience quasi spirituelle à la fin de vos vacances, grâce à sa beauté à couper le souffle. Juste à gauche de l’allée se trouvent un sentier et un escalier qui mènent directement à la plage. Vous pourriez littéralement sortir du lit et vous retrouver directement sur le sable de la plage de Great Hollow!

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The house was even better than pics. The view is second to none. Just beautiful. The house is fully equipped with anything you may need. Proximity to Province town and beautiful Truro and Wellfleet is great too. We will be back as soon as we are able to. Thank you again to our responsive and attentive hosts.

Lovely setting

The house has spectacular views (especially the sunsets) of the bay from both inside and outside. It was very clean, comfortable, newly renovated, and nicely decorated.

Beautiful and peaceful stay

By far the best Vrbo I’ve ever stayed at. It was so clean, charming, and the communication with the owners was exceptional. The deck outside with your own walkway to the beach was my favorite part. I would absolutely stay here again and plan on it in the future!

What a fantastic home, nestled behind a primary dune with amazing oceans views. The kitchen was well appointed, very comfortable living and bedrooms. The Del Mar staff made the entire stay effortless.

Simply amazing

This is the second time we booked this incredible property. The location is simply amazing. We stay with our adult son, daughter and son-in-law and it is just the best week of the year. So happy we found this! Will definitely rebook next summer!

Beautiful Spot to Relax and Enjoy Amazing Sunsets!

Beautiful home, right in the ocean with easy beach access. The beach was a lot longer than I thought and made for great walks. Amazing sunsets every night. House was tastefully modern and immaculate. Owners were super nice and attentive with our questions. Will be renting again.

Amazing sunset ocean view!

We had a 4 night family getaway. The house was very clean and looked like it had been recently renovated. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well outfitted. The view amazing and the sunsets were stunning every evening of our stay. The house is closer to the other houses in the area than the pictures would lead you to believe, but there are outside seating areas that feel relatively private. We really enjoyed it overall and would happily stay there again.

Fabulous

This was my second time staying here, and I would come back a thousand times more. The best part of the home is the magnificent view of the water, and the beach is literally a staircase away. The house is lovely, comfortable, well equipped, and roomy. Don’t hesitate to book this gorgeous place for yourself! You won’t regret it.

Perfect getaway to the beach!

The cottage was small but very well appointed and clean. Incredible view from the kitchen and deck, great outdoor shower and eating area. Met the owners, lovely folks and the property is maintained very well. Literally a few steps to the beach. A second bathroom would have been a plus. I’ll book again!

Location and View!!!

Great location just 10 minutes south of P-Town in Truro overlooking the sea with amazing views from the home and deck. A stone's throw and stroll down the path to beautiful beach great for walking and swimming. House is very clean, new, and modern. The only down side is the tiny size of the one bathroom in the unit and the absence of washer/dryer. But there is a spacious outdoor shower and overall the space is bright and comfortable.

Loved the location and the view of the bay. The house was spotless, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The beds are comfortable, and the linens are nice and cozy. I didn't notice that there was no dining room table, and we were here in March, so it was too cold to eat outside. Can't fault the house as it is clear from the pictures. The house does have stools around the kitchen island, so that works too. The house gets very bright, especially as the sun is going down, but there are nice shades along that side that you might have to close for a few hours. Needed to contact the management company to get the wi-fi password. They were very responsive and helpful. All in, pay attention to the photos, and if the layout works for you, then I'd book it!

Absolutely Wonderful, We can’t wait to go back!!

This was a totally phenomenal 5 star stay!! The cottage is gorgeously adorable with an exceptional layout to make the most efficient use of the space. The view was second to none, I had a hard time tearing my eyes away from the shoreline and in fact opted to skip other sightseeing opportunities just to sit on the deck and watch for wales (which I spotted and it was awesome). It was perfect. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to enjoy this little slice of Heaven. We even got to meet the owner who was lovely and gracious. The property management was attentive and prompt in checking everything was satisfactory, which it was AND THEN SOME! We loved it. Thank you Del Mar, we will definitely be back!

What a breathtaking view

As we approached the property, we saw the sprawling ocean immediately in front of us and knew that we, without a doubt, had made the perfect decision. We stayed for two nights in November and never tired of the charming cottage with the breathtaking views. The private beach access was amazing, and lighted for those evening beach strolls. The VRBO photo gallery capture both the physical space and the spirit of the property accurately. There were only two of us, so a single bathroom was not an issue. Although there is no dining room table, the kitchen island is set up for family meals and honestly, you want to sit there and enjoy the view anyway. We certainly hope to sneak back to this property from time to time, and made a lot of good memories.

Perfect setup for Cape Cod vacation

Cottage was extremely clean and included all the essential household items.Convenient to local attractions and beaches. House came fully equipped with everything you are apt to need. Two suggestions I would make...1) make parking accomodations for day visitors and 2) repair/refurbish the grill - showing serious aging problems (e.g. replace the battery in the electronic starter and give the machine a thorough seasonal cleaning. Notwithstanding those two suggestions I would seriously consider renting again - lovely place.

We really loved this house

We really loved this house. We arrived 4 hours early and received a text that we could check-in early. Wes, the owner of the adjacent house was so kind and welcoming. The proximity to the water was amazing and the house was immaculate. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we would need to cook a meal. The only thing that would have made our stay better was if the kitchen was stocked with just a few simple pantry items. Some sugar packets, coffee and creamer, salt and pepper, foil and Saran Wrap, a second roll of paper towel. That would have been so greatly appreciated, given there was no grocery store close by. All in all, it was an beautiful stay and we had a wonderful time.

Amazing location!

Our family had a wonderful stay last week at this amazing property. We love Truro and have been vacationing there for many years. This location is by far the best we have ever stayed at, just steps from a private beach with the most amazing view. With P-Town about 15 minutes away, it allowed for us to head into town to enjoy some great restaurants and our annual whale watch with ease. The house is small but spacious, recently updated, comfortable, clean and very nicely appointed. The kitchen is well-equipped. We stayed with our adult children. There were five of us and we never felt crowded. We were a bit concerned about only having one bathroom, but the outdoor shower remedied that issue. The owners were very nice and the management company was very responsive and easy to deal with. Absolutely loved it! We cannot wait to go back next year!
