The property was very clean, central location in the heart of the town. We were on the top floor and the view was stunning. No elevators in the facility however there is a back door half way through which makes it a bit easier to carry luggage up. The only downfall I would say regarding this property is the room key controls the air and power therefore the AC and fridge would only work when you're in the room and the key is in the slot. Overall, this is a great property to consider if you are visiting Tropea.

Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet. Ein Minikühlschrank die und ein Wasserkocher ist vorhanden. Außerdem eine Klimaanlage die im Hochsommer Gold wert ist. Das Bad ist modern und alles scheint relativ neu renoviert zu sein. Besonders schön ist der große Balkon. Man hat einen tollen Meerblick. Die Gastgeberin, die im Haus wohnt,ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Frühstück findet gleich gegen über der Unterkunft in einem Bistro statt.

Razoável a nossa estadia , o quarto que ficamos era grande e razoável, a localização sendo justo é excelente a vista do quarto também é excelente mas ai vem os problemas para quem procura um mínimo de conforto e comodidade este com certeza não e o lugar , simplesmente é um Airbnb dos ruins motivo o atendimento é péssimo ou seja não existe , o wifi não funciona a entrada do local que nem parece entrada tem um cheiro horrível de coisas mofadas , o cafe da manha é fora é em um local em frente do outro lado da rua , uma pena o local teria tudo para ser perfeito , com certeza NÃO voltaria novamente .

Personalen var supertrevlig, det var nära till allt och boendet var supertyst. Vårt rum hade en helt otrolig utsikt! Vi blev helt kära i detta. Kan VARMT rekommendera detta boende till alla! Många trappor bara men det går fint!

Great room and location right at the top of the steps that lead to the beach. The breakfast buffet was also good. Our only issue was getting a hot shower. 3 of the 4 days we stayed the showers were cold.

We had a great stay at Il Duca for 4 nights. Perfect location to explore Tropea. The room was spacious and very clean. Franca welcomed us later in the evening due to our arrival time and made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast is across the road at a little cafe which had a small basic selection but was enough given how much food you eat in this area throughout the day. The room comes with all extra little conveniences such as beach towels, parasol, mini fridge etc, they have thought of it all. The only things to take note of for those it may be important to: - There are a few steep stairs to get to the room for those with mobility issues it could be a problem - Parking - can be a little difficult due to the ZTL zone so you may not park very close to the B&B - still manageable if low amounts of luggage - Wifi is there, however due to likely the thick walls or bandwith reach, it is not always the best (more for those that may be working while there Apart from that, we loved everything about it and will definitely return. The B&B is in the perfect location! Near all the restaurants and bars as well as the different beaches. Checkin was easy. The room was fantastic! A great view, a couch, a great bathroom and a really comfortable bed. It’s so quiet too! We slept really well here. Sonia does a great job cleaning the rooms too!

A Hidden Gem in Tropea 🌟 Our stay at Il Duca Hotel was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel like family. Sonya went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, always with a smile. Franca greeted us with warmth and made sure we felt right at home in the beautiful surroundings of Tropea. Our stay at Il Duca was fantastic. Close to the city centre and to the beach and lots of restaurants. Yes the stairs are quite steep, but you can do it. Our host. Sonia was very helpful and the breakfast was fantastic.

Incredible view and extremely helpful and welcoming staff. Excellent breakfast. Can be a very busy area but the room is soundproof when you close the windows, so you can still get a good and peaceful rest at any time of day.

Had a really great stay at Il Duca. We arrived to Tropea with stormy conditions so we had to spend a lot of time in the hotel. Room was very nice, very specious and comfortable. Very close to Tons of restaurants and shops and a great view of the Grotto. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Tropea.
