Platte - 37ft RV Camper in the Woods with Fire pit & Hot Tub Access

  • The Platte Camper - The Platte Camper - This 37ft 5th wheel camper is located on part of our 20 acres of woods. This RV has water, electricity, Heat/AC, a refrigerator, stove top and cooking stove, toilet, shower and other basic necessities. The camper is locates down our rail about 300 ft from the main house and 100-200ft from other campers on the property. There is a shared outdoor hot tub that is available for use. We do have a fire pit just outside the camper. There is a nice trail through the woods.

    PLEASE NOTE - This is an older camper in the woods. We try to keep it clean and cozy, but don't expect a plush hotel at a camper price. Most people who understand this leave us great feedback, but those who expect a great hotel room at a camper price are sometimes disappointed. There are many other lodging options in the area that are much nicer, but you also have to pay two to three times more - especially in the prime summer months.

Did not use hot tub, it is like a trailer park with other trailers out there which I feel was a bit misleading on Expedia but the stay was very nice! Furniture was outdated with some rips in fabric but were clean, the bed was comfortable, shower was nice, everything was super clean you could smell the cleaner heavily lol, was nice for what we needed as we did not spend a lot of time in the camper, didn’t really have to speak to staff, self check in, they are on the property if you need them and they seemed like they were ready to help if needed.

We booked in advanced and received instructions on how to get to the property. The host provided everything you would need to camp in this spot. Having WIFI and local cable was a cherry on top. The bed was very comfortable, there were pots and pans and bowls and silverware. Plenty of towels and soaps to freshen up. I would recommend the Platte Trailer to anyone. It was great location for a home base to enjoy the local attractions near and around Traverse City. Thumbs up for sure.

Loved the cleanliness and dispite tragedy of the RV was very modern and functional. Hot water was scarce but I think I didn't turn turn on the water heater. Loved it!!

Camping near the National Park

Great camper near the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park. Property is well maintained and had extra activities to keep the kids occupied. We’d definitely stay here again!

Perfect for families that love the outdoors

Pleasantly suprised by this amazing location with awesome hosts. Long trails to walk, let the kids bring their bikes. The play area was great for us, we really appreciated that extra bit of entertainment that we werent expecting. Would definitely recommend.

Great little stop

We just needed someplace to sleep between days of hiking and this worked great! Our kids enjoyed exploring the property and we were happy to relax in the hot tub. Host was easy to communicate with, responsive and helpful.
