« I strongly recommend this small boutique hotel. The strongest points are by far the Hospitality. Dacia is so lovely and friendly. She really cares about our needs. It’s very quiet and restful. Her son played piano a few times. Her mother prepares stunning breakfasts, different everyday. I stayed in the room with private balcone and an amazing view. Santa Teresa is a lovely neighborhood with great restaurants that are walking distance from the hotel. The area also feels safe! »

"This hotel is a complete scam. We booked and paid back in June for a very specific room with a view, exactly as shown in the photos. When we arrived, they gave us a completely different room: on the lower level, facing the street, with zero privacy — people can see directly inside. When we showed the receptionist the room type we had actually booked, she arrogantly told us that “the room is equivalent to what you booked on ebookers.” This is not true: ebookers confirmed that the hotel told them the photos were subjective and needed to be updated. The hotel is clearly lying to cover itself. Worst of all, they offered absolutely NO solution — no alternative, no compensation, not even an apology. The rooms look nothing like the photos, and they insist that “all rooms are the same,” even though we paid much more for a better room with a proper view. The staff is rude, unprofessional, and refuses to take any responsibility. As for the surroundings: the neighborhood feels unsafe, with many homeless people around and even a camp right in front of the entrance. There is a guard downstairs, but the whole area still feels uncomfortable and far from what you expect in Rio. And the most shocking part: this is not our first hotel in Rio — we’ve stayed in several — and this was supposed to be our first 5-star hotel here… yet it turned out to be the worst of them all. Avoid this hotel at all costs."

"Très déçu par l'établissement. Il a fallu payer un surplus en arrivant car la réservation de mon fils n'a pas été prise en compte correctement. En arrivant pas de serviettes de toilettes dans la chambre il a fallu les réclamer 4 fois, la piscine est en réparation par contre j'ai payé le même prix que si la piscine fonctionnait. Certains personnels, pas tous, sont très désagréables. Et pour finir au deuxième soir en rentrant la chasse d'eau ne fonctionnait toujours pas malgré que nous l'ayons signalé dans l'après midi en partant, il a fallu changer de chambre. Le linge blanc est d'une couleur très douteuse. La semaine précédent notre arrivée j'ai envoyé au moins 10 messages resté sans réponses Bref cher payé pour ce que s'est !!"
