Welcome to The Budding Bungalow, our 2BR/2BA, waterfront bungalow on Lake Hartwell with a private, deep-water covered boat-dock. We have lovingly updated the entire space inside and outside including a brand-new kitchen, floors, windows and outdoor shower. You can even check out of renovation process on IG @Thebuddingbungalow - Only a 20 minute drive to Clemson University and Anderson University! -Relax, boat, fish, swim or float on the lake & enjoy beautiful sunsets on the dock. - Explore the quaint nearby towns (Anderson, Seneca, Pendleton, Hartwell...) - You can also explore the quiet cove on the kayaks included with the rental. Other amenities include hi speed wi-fi, 2 Roku TVs, gas grill, outdoor fire pit, washer/dryer and a space for a boat trailer. Inside: The house is a perfect size for one couple or a family get-away. It is a 2-story bungalow with the bedrooms on the terrace level. It comfortably sleeps 2 adults and up to 4 children. The main level features a lake view room where you can comfortably soak in the lake views or play a game. Cooking is easy in our brand-new kitchen with quartz countertops and open shelving system. After dinner, curl up and watch a movie on our Roku TV in the family room at night (Netflix provided). --Main level- kitchen, family room, lake-view room, ½ bathroom --Terrace level- lake-view room, 2 bedrooms, full bathroom, laundry closet --Master bedroom- 1 queen bed --Kids bedroom- 1 bunk bed (top bunk- twin, bottom bunk- full) --Terrace level lake-view room- 1 twin day bed Outside: It’s only a short walk on our easy walking path to the deep water covered boat dock (20 feet at full pool) which is great for swimming, fishing, floating, or docking your boat for the duration of your stay. The cove is quiet with sweet neighbors and is also home to our resident Blue Herron who guards the cove. The dock has Adirondack chairs for you to enjoy your morning coffee or sunset cocktail. When you are finished with your day on the water, enjoy our enclosed outdoor shower featuring a bench seat, hot and cold water as well as 2 different shower heads. Features- Deck with propane grill and outdoor seating, enclosed outdoor shower, covered boat dock, cement driveway, 4 kayaks (2 adult, 2 children’s), 2 inner tube floats, life jackets. Enjoy the fire pit on chilly nights! *Electrical hookup on the dock: we provide a 200ft extension cord (12/3 extension cord, 15Amp, 125V, 1875Watts rated) to run from your boat up to the back of the house where we have an outdoor electrical outlet if you need to charge your boat battery. We currently have a 2 week maximum stay. Please send us a message if you are interested in staying longer.
