« Stayed for one night, on our way back down from Scotland. Had a lovely time here, and wished we could have stayed longer. Arrived around 6pm, very easy parking and checking in to our room. Then had a lovely meal downstairs in the Penny Blue restaurant attached to the hotel. Food was served very quickly, and the staff were attentive. The room itself was excellent, very spacious with a comfortable bed. It did get a little warm in the night for our taste, but they had a fan available which...

« Didn't actually manage to stay here and had to book alternative accommodation at short notice. Despite checking in online earlier that morning and advising of expected arrival time, I didn't receive the code for the lock box and all attempts at contacting the host failed, no response to phone calls or text messages, in fact the host declined my calls on numerous occasions. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED that this host left a solo female traveler stood outside in the rain and in the dark for over an hour...

« Lovely caravan which was very clean and dog friendly. Well stocked including bowls for doggy. Communication from the owners was excellent. They even sent us a list of dog friendly walks some with dog friendly pubs. Lovely dog friendly pub Mason Arms just across the road from the camp where they let doggy sit under the table whilst owners had a meal. It was a small caravan site which was quiet and well laid out just what we needed. »

"No door to en-suite, dirty room that smelled of smoke, broken window, no hot water in shower, shower not clean, soap dispenser not filled and not working, tried to charge us for breakfast even though the booking said it was included, room incredibly small"
