« We stayed for a week with a family of 10. Enough comfortable space for all of us! The kids had a blast catching HUGE frogs and blue gill left and right from the dock. We also made use of the paddle boat and canoe. Short drive to all the 1000 Islands has to offer! Host was extremely helpful with area recommendations with quick responses. »

« Many yrs ago I spent time in Alexandria bay and brought my grandchildren to the thousands island area to make fond memories for them. Words can't explain how disappointed I was with that area. « Paddles on the Porch is a perfect location, beautiful views and walking distance to everything in town. The house has great vibes and was nice and clean. « We had the best time. The house is clean and right on the water. We enjoyed a daytrip to Boldt castle and another jaunt to sachets harbor. FYI - this house is not great for mobility challenges or overly tall folks. The online pictures don’t totally show how low the ceilings are. My friend is 6ft 8- and was routinely hitting his head on moldings and lower thresholds. The floors have many different levels so you will be stepping up and down as you go.
