« hotel staff went above and beyond with great service. from a free bottle of wine delivered to our room to the restaurant giving us an apple to staff bringing toothpaste to our room. when i left a hairbrush in the room, they had it in the lobby in less than 15 mins. from checkout so that I didn't end up going home without it. they were wonderful! we plan to be back. »

« This hotel is undergoing heavy construction. The email they sent after I booked said "light construction" but our hotel didnt have water or cable when we checked in. The receptionist offered a refune since amenities werent available. She said I had to contact expedia first. So my party canceled and got a new hotel. The hotel is now not responding to Expedia. I recommend going somewhere else. »

« We had a non-smoking room, new paint, but it still smelled like old cigarette smoke and something else. The bed was comfortable. They are trying to make it better. »

« WoodSpring Suites Kansas City Mission is definitely a very basic hotel without the amenities of most hotels. But it's perfect if you're just looking for a comfy bed, kitchenette, and a shower. For those reasons, plus the wonderful staff and insanely great price, I would recommend this hotel. My stay lasted a week or more, as I kept having to extend it, and included my two small dogs. « We chose this hotel bc it was in close proximity to the Uptown Theatre and we were seeing a show there. That was the only plus. The floor in the bathroom was very sticky, and the floor lamp in the bedroom was missing a shade. The worst part: one of the employees let themselves in to our room at 7:30 am. It was an accident, but completely scared us and felt very unprofessional. Would not stay here again. »
