The location has stores and restraint very close by. We had our dogs with us and had no issues finding somewhere for them to go outside. "We really enjoyed our stay at Quincy House and would absolutely come back. Our room had been beautifully remodeled in a way that preserved the period feel of the home while still being very comfortable. You can tell a lot of care has gone into bringing this historic property back to life. The scratch-made breakfast was a real highlight—absolutely outstanding and something we looked forward to each morning. The same attention to detail being put into the house clearly carries through to the hospitality. A couple things worth knowing: Quincy House is still undergoing restoration, so you won’t yet get to experience the entire property. Our room was completely insulated from the work, though, and it didn’t detract from our stay. The sitting room can also get a little warm on sunny 80+ degree days, but certainly wasn’t a deal breaker for us. Overall, a wonderful stay in a beautiful historic home with lots of character, great hospitality, and an exceptional breakfast. We’re excited to see Quincy House as the restoration continues!"

"The property was as described. We rented this property as a headquarters for a trip to Isle Royale National Park. Flying to Isle Royale is complicated due to weather conditions, pilot availability, and other uncontrollable issue. Erica, owner and host, is probably the best VBRO host we have encountered. (We use VRBO frequently.) She worked with us with the ever-changing schedules and helped make this a trip of a lifetime. Thanks, Erica for all you did for us. Would love to come back. Isle Royale was beautiful and we did not have enough time to enjoy all of the park."
