The night skys are fantastic. The cottage is secluded. It is about a 35 minute drive to the nearest store of any kind so if you want to get away from everything it is perfect. Stock up before you go. The cottage has high speed internet and good cell phone reception to keep you in touch with the outside world. Besonders die Abendstunden im Boot auf dem See waren Entspannung pur. Auch die schönen Ausflüge in die Umgebung, an die nahegelegenen Strände, Fort Louisburg und Isle Madame waren sehr abwechslungsreich. Die kleinen Kolibris haben uns jeden Morgen am Frühstückstisch draußen begrüßt. Auch Seeadler und Eulen konnten wir sehen. Wir freuen uns schon auf ein nächstes Mal! Es liegt wunderschön an einem breiten Arm des Brad d'Or Lakes auf einem großen sehr gepflegten Grundstück. Wir waren leider nur zwei Wochen dort, die wie im Flug vergangen sind. Man kann vielfältige Tagesausflüge machen oder einfach faulenzen - herrlich. ( Nur die Schlafzimmer waren etwas klein , aber damit kann man gut leben ). War mit meiner Familie 2 Wochen im Oktober beim "Indian Summer" dort. Wir haben sehr schöne Ausflüge gemacht.Mein Sohn hatte viel Spass beim Angeln und Bootfahren.Auch die Kolibris waren nett und ein Eichhörnchen hat mir direkt aus der Hand gefressen.Wir werden sicher nochmal hinfahren. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in ihrem gepflegten Haus. Man sieht, dass es mit Liebe eingerichtet wurde. Da wir Ende September waren, haben wir Abends des öfteren den Kaminofen eingeheizt. Das Blockhaus liegt an einem riesigen See, ist gemütlich und funktionell eingerichtet. Mit Kahnfahren, Angeln und Ausflügen haben wir die Zeit verbracht.
