Excellent B&B à Thames. Une jolie chambre avec sa salle de bains privative, une vue splendide sur la vallée, l'accueil et les explications d'Adrienne et de Garth est extrêmement sympathique et agréable, un grand merci à eux ! Le petit-déjeuner est cuisiné tout les matins par nos hôtes, un vrai moment de convivialité. Le lieu est géographiquement très bien placé pour visiter la péninsule de Coromandel et Thames propose plusieurs options de restauration pour le soir. En bref, chaude recommandation de notre part !

Très bon accueil, chambre très confortable et petit déjeuner copieux et préparé avec soin. Le couple qui gère ce B&B est très chaleureux et a fait beaucoup d' efforts pour qu'on puisse communiquer malgré notre maitrise imparfaite de la langue anglaise. Bonne adresse.

Tres joli cottage et accueil tres chaleureux des proprietaires. La chambre avait une vue magnifique. Le petit dejeuner etait delicieux. Un endroit a recommander absolument.

Malgré un accueil sympathique et convivial, des prestations irréprochables, j’ai trouvé le prix de ce B&B bien élevé pour une petite chambre certes parfaitement tenue et une situation peu avantageuse, les principaux sites touristiques sont à une bonne heure de route. A conseiller aux personnes qui ne logent qu’en B&B !

Lovely property with amazing views
We only had a 1 night stay as it was supposed to be a staging post to travelling further north on the peninsula to explore the area. However cyclone Gabrielle had other plans for us, so Cotswold Cottage and Thames was as far as we got. Nevertheless we had a very pleasant stay. Garth and Adrienne were great hosts and we particularly enjoyed the home made scones and tea on our arrival served in the guest lounge with amazing views all round. It is a beautiful property and the room was tastefully decorated and extremely clean. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Unfortunately the weather prevented us from taking advantage of sitting in the lovely garden and enjoying the views of the river and surrounding properties or using the spa pool but I would imagine it would be wonderful on a sunny day. We would highly recommend a stay in this gorgeous home.

Beautiful scenic, historic property, excellent service.and very good location. Breakfast was outstanding. The 6 day cancellation window was a problem. In spite of the flooding we weren’t able to cancel and had to work around the scheduling. Only property we had booked that we had a problem with. Otherwise a great stay….

Lovely home, warm homeowners.
Very nice room. Lovely owners were very helpful finding road closures and directions during the bad rain storms. Very nice breakfast. Steep hill getting up to their house but it was a great view.

Outstanding service from the moment we arrived till we left. We were greeted with an afternoon tea and had a lovely continental and cooked breakfast the next morning. Great room with all the amenities you need except a kitchen.

Nicest hosts you could possibly meet, thoroughly enjoyed meeting them and they were very helpful with good info on where to go and what to do. Facilities lovely, in a quiet, garden-surrounded spot overlooking a river. Included a home-cooked breakfast. Great place to stay

They thought of everything possible to make their guest feel comfortable. Great for Couples
We stayed at Cotswold Cottage 2 nights as a hub for driving around the Coromandel Peninsula and, for that purpose, the location was great. The house is situated at the top of a knoll so the view is really nice. The street below isn't busy and borders a creek so it's not only quiet but actually pleasant to go for a walk along as we did one evening. There are three units attached to the back of the house that are rented out. Each room has its own entrance out onto a shared deck that connects to the sitting room of the main house which enters into the dinning area where breakfast is served. Breakfast consisted of two courses: (1) self served granola, yogurt, fruit, toast, and juices; and (2) a cooked meal of which they gave two options. The tables were well set and they also prepared fresh coffee upon your arrival. After breakfast the hosts will get out a map of the area and walk you through things to do that day. They are very friendly and welcoming. This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast and the experience was so nice that we plan to stay at more in the future.

Cotswold Cottage is set in a great location on the outskirts of Thames providing beautiful views across the surrounding countryside. We received a genuine welcome which included the offer of afternoon tea and freshly baked scones and reflected the owner's attention to detail which was evident everywhere. They were very helpful and provided excellent information regarding places to visit and even paid impending road tolls online on our behalf to ensure we didn't forget to subsequently pay these and incur expensive fines.Breakfast was First Class. Our only regret is that we just stayed one night in wonderful accommodation in the beautiful Coramandel Peninsular.

Absolutely beautiful setting. Loved our room with the bistro table and chairs on the sun deck. The views o relooking the river and the race track are serene. Nice breeze through the room. Great bathroom and shower facilities. Adrienne & Garth we’re both warm and welcoming. They provided helpful information about the town and experienced guidance about things to do in the region. Breakfast & tea were great. Because of the hospitality; eauty and location we ended up spending an additional night! Would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone staying or passing through this area.

Excellent accommodation just on the outskirts of Thames. We stayed just one evening on our way to Whitianga and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very welcoming and their spotless home was set in a lovely garden with a wonderful view. The breakfast was delicious too and we were also offered a welcome drink on the house when we arrived. Our room had everything we needed so we would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend Cotswold Cottage to family and friends.

Cotswold Cotage is a very comfortable B&B with a beautiful outlook. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The hosts are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and we were pleasantly surprised to be offered afternoon tea on our arrival.
