"What a wonderful place to spend our Tuscan holiday! No need to read further, this is the place to stay. It was absolutely wonderful. Located just 10 minutes drive from San Gimignano and less than an hour from Florence or Siena, the location is perfect. And the views are amazing. While relaxing with an Aperol Spritz in the sparkling clean infinity pool you have a clear view of vineyards and farmhouses that fade into an often amazing sunset. There is a grocery store in San Gimignano (called COOP) that had everything we needed, and of course, so many restaurants and shops. The 100 year old villa is amazing too. It was immaculately clean and very comfortable. The bed my wife and I slept in had a foam topper that was heavenly. There is individually controlled air conditioning in every room The kitchen had everything we needed: two coffee makers (an individual pod type, which was stocked with plenty of pods and a Mr. Coffee drip type), a toaster, a microwave, a dishwasher, an ample supply of dishes, glasses, cutlery, pots/pans, etc.. Alessandro, the host, was fantastic. He and his wife, Chiara, met us at check-in and made sure we were comfortable and well informed about the house and the area. After that, we only saw them when we needed something. Alessandro speaks perfect english and responds to a text within minutes. Finally, don't miss out on the in-house dinner and wine tasting. The chef and the sommelier were exceptional. Stay at Podere Lazzarona"
