Suite à un probleme technique dans l'appartement reserve survenu le jour de notre venu l 'etablissement nous a reloge dans un autre etablissement du meme type. l s'agit du Lake side motel and apartments ou tout était parfait et cerise sur le gateau le balcon étant face au lac, donc une vue magnifique.

Grisaille à l’exterieur Mais soleil à l’interieur!
Magnifique et confortable studio avec vue du lac juste devant... hélas il a plu très fort avec orages et grisaille les 2 jours! Heureusement on a pu relaxer dans notre studio lumineux , au calme et en amoureux !

Super motel. La rénovation dans du modernisme réussie. Literie parfaite et accueil génial. Nous étions un couple et une jeune de 14 ans rien à redire. Idéalement placé pour visiter Milford sound. 2 h quand même

Bel hôtel face au lac
Notre chambre avait été terminée 3 semaines auparavant et tout était nickel. Il y avait un frigo, plaque à 2 ronds, etc. Bref tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner pour 2 personnes. La dame qui nous a accueilli était super gentille et serviable. Super endroit pour passer plusieurs jours.

The property had all the amenities we were looking for. Adequate cooking, spacious, easy acvess with front and rear entry/ exit. It was within walking distance of many restaurants.

There are many good things to say about this property. Sadly the internet and tv are not among them. We had no internet for most of our stay. The few tv channels are at best abysmal. Parking can be tricky if the motel is full. We had a one bedroom unit which we really liked. It had a very nice modern bathroom with a large walk in shower. The kitchen although smallish was well kitted out. Also a comfortable sitting area including chairs outside the unit. Not much of a view of the lake but we were steps away from the lake which had a terrific esplanade that went for miles. It was an easy walk into town for shopping. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Lots of fresh towels if needed. The bed was comfortable and the electric blanket was an added bonus for a comfortable sleep. We liked our stay in spite of the other nuisance stuff which shouldn’t be. This is the age of technology and crappy internet and tv is no longer the norm or acceptable.

Room 6 ( unrenovated) was very tired and ordinary. Admitally it was clean and functional. However, carpets worn, shower mat frayed, no bedside power points and bedroom light so dull, reading was not possible. Sorry, not worth the asking price.

Staff were excellent and extremely helpful. One bedroom suites were nicely upgraded. Two bedroom suite had great privacy and lovely windows but is in dire need of an upgrade.

Awesome location. There was no staff available on site. The locks on one of the windows was broken. Shower pressure was weak. Bathroom fixtures were old.

No staff on site when we checked in but they had made arrangements for us to get into our room. Luckily we had no issues that required help from staff. The one thing that should be addressed is a plumbing issue that creates a bad smell in the room (the kitchenette sink did not have a p-trap so smells from the pipes were escaping into the room when the drain stopper was removed.

Thank you for your feedback. The staff was only a phone call away as pointed out in the welcome letter. We will address the plumbing issues. We will call the plumber to fix it.

The property was fine and basic. Had all the conveniences but has definitely seen better days. Floor was less than clean with a few spiders. Fine for a day or two especially if you’re not hanging out in the hotel but if you want something a bit more updated look elsewhere.

I reminded Hotels.com so many times that Edgewater didn’t fulfil the stay. They cancelled our booking with the reason that the villa wasn’t in a good state. Then we were transferred twice abd ended up in lakeview, which in my opinion was a downgrade I had been asking hotels.com for a cost delta No body, nobody from Hotels.com or Edgewater responded to me

I had low expectations of this motel having stayed at a Queenstown hotel the night before, but couldn’t believe how fantastic this place was! Great layout and facilities and immaculately clean! We didn’t meet any staff but they left us very friendly notes to explain why they weren’t available and to ensure we had everything we needed

It was spacious enough for two people and easy to spend time with minimal facilities. Contact with the management arrived quickly and we found them to be very responsive. It would be even better if the Jacuzzi could be cleaned and if there were more pots and pans that could be used with the electric stove.

Thank you for your review. We apologise if the Jacuzzi wasn't clean to the standard. We made sure train the cleaners again how to clean it properly. We have also added extra pots in the room, so next time you will have even better stay.

Vibing in Te Anau
Great little motel on the lake shore. Easy walk to town, restaurants and tours. We really loved this spot. Such a cool vibe.

What's not to like about Edgewater Motel and Te Anau? We were the only residents for our 3 night stay so was very quiet but very relaxing. The unit was well equiped, warm and clean.

This was such a lovely motel that had style and comfort. No lake view from room but a 30 second walk to the lake. There was a wonderful garden with a lounge suite under the trees, pure luxury

On arrival, looked like an old 1960/70's motel, but had been completely refurbished inside. Great bathroom. Straight across from the lake and short walk to town center. Would stay again.
