In response to your review, I would like to offer the following comments and corrections. Firstly at no stage did I yell at you (and definitely not your child), you yelled at me. While you were checking in at reception I was outside and noticed your son pull down his pants and prepare to urinate in my pot plants at our reception entrance. I suggested to Dad that he go inside and use the toilet. Dad with the son proceeds to tell me that he lives in the bush and that is just what he normally does. They went inside where I assumed they would ask to use the toilet. My husband tells me he noticed them come in but neither parent asked him anything about needing a toilet. While he was busy finalising check in he saw the child fidgeting and trying to open our private doors but as parents didn't say anything he just assumed it was childish inquisitiveness. You completed check in and went outside to go to your room. By then I was inside and noticed that your child had gone around the corner and had proceeded to urinate all over our private front entranceway and surrounding garden, with Mum standing behind him. I went outside and looked at Mum and Dad (definitely not at the child as he had wandered off) and said that's not ok, why did you not ask to use the toilet as I suggested. Your yelled response to me was that your son was autistic and didn't I have children, and that we should have known that was it obvious what he wanted to do. At no point did you apologise but only ranted defensively like it was a normal thing to do. I said I wasn't aware of course that your son was autistic (most 5 year old's are able to express the need for a bathroom and I do have children so of course understand that accidents happen), but if a child has trouble communicating it would have been prudent for the parents to ask on his behalf. I am sorry that your experience with us was ruined by this.

Many have updated furniture and furnishings in the past year or so, and I am sorry that you found the couches in the one you stayed in not so comfortable. If you can let us know which apartment you were in we can encourage that owner to update things sooner rather than later. We also utilise a treatment that keeps bugs at bay so don't have a bug problem at night! You are fully able to leave windows and sliding doors open at night if you so wish to do so to take advantage of that lovely sea breeze that we get in the evenings. Thanks for taking the time to write a review. All our apartments are privately owned and as such have differing decor and furniture but on the whole are kept to the same high standard. Many have been recently upgraded with new carpet and decor while others are in the process at the moment. We constantly work with the owners of the apartments to ensure that they are working to keep them at our usual high standard. The apartment that you stayed in is due to have new carpet and lounge furniture very soon. The kitchen has recently been fully replaced and all appliances and bedroom furniture is less than a year old. We only have a few apartments with air con (they are all privately owned so are different) and unfortunately that villa is one that doesn't. Luckily we don't have a problem with bugs so you can keep the windows and ranch sliders open all the time and the sea breeze keeps the air moving a lot of the time!
