« Last minute weekend booking for 2 adults and 3 children (6,6,8). Arrived late to a prepared room, warm welcome and much needed cocktail. Room had a queen size bed in a separate area with sofa bed and single bed in the main area. Each area had a large TV, would of loved for these to be smart tv’s but didn’t affect us too much. « L’hôtellerie semble être une annexe du pub, ce qui n'est nullement négatif vu le charme de cet établissement historique et de l'accueil sympathique du personnel. L'ambiance y est très bonne, la restauration est de bon niveau et l'ambiance générale, considérant la clientèle, est très "Glastonbury"! Les chambres (du moins au 2ème étage) ne souffrent pas de l'ambiance du pub et le calme est appréciable. »

« Problème de paiement puisque j’ai été débité 3 fois et reçu 2 remboursements. Avec le change euros / livres et les frais de banque, leurs erreurs m’ont coûté 40€, ce qui n’est pas normal. Mais ça, ils n’ont pas voulu l’entendre. Pas sure non plus que ce soit autorisé de débiter une personne qui a déjà quitté l’hôtel (et qui a payé le 1er jour en arrivant !) »

« Excellent rapport qualité/prix pour cette auberge. Personnel très agréable, à l'écoute et serviable. Chambre confortable. Très bon petit déjeuner. Le Pub propose une carte variée et d'excellents plats (les meilleurs du séjour). Beaucoup de sites à visiter dans un rayon d'1h, 1h15 de route : Cardiff, Bath, Exeter, Burnham on sea... Merci »

« Located in a lovely setting but starting to look a bit tired throughout. We booked an upgraded room so two nights cost £355.00 Bed and breakfast which I don’t feel was good value. We have stayed in a much nicer hotel with that amount of budget. The room was OK but things like a shower over the bath with a rather tired curtain were not what we had expected. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately I felt the experience didn’t live up to our expectations...

« A perfect place to stay in Cheddar! The view is beautiful, and farm eggs kindly offered by Paul and Juddy, delicious! The cottage is equiped with everything you need- including a stove and a microwave. The road to the farm looks a little steep at first, but I had no problem going up the hill with my regular, "economy" rental car. Paul and Judy gave me great tips to enjoy my quick halt in Bath. And, the Mendip hills area- where the cottage is located- offers very pretty hikes. Great hosts, and...

« Our stay was amazing. Judith , Julian and family were above and beyond. Our Grandsons had a wonderful time on the farm 🚜 we had a tour, bringing the cows in from the field , to watching them being milked, then to feed two new baby calves , and to end it with a tractor 🚜 ride 😀. The accommodation is very clean, and the boys loved living upside down lol 😆. The countryside is beyond words, stunning . I would recommend this 100% we shall definitely go again. Thankyou »
